Born and Raised in Spartanburg, SC, Dr. Marcello has been practicing General Dentistry in the Upstate since 1999. He graduated from Wofford College in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and went on to the Medical University of South Carolina, where he earned his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry.
After graduating from MUSC, he began his residency in Dayton, Ohio at the Dayton VA Medical Hospital. In his spare time, Dr. Marcello enjoys traveling with his family. His wife, Samantha, is the Office Manager here at Dental Innovations. His daughter, Thea, also helps with greeting patients when she comes to work with mommy!

I highly recommend making Dental Innovations your go-to for your dental care. I had such a wonderful experience today - after an extended period of time without a check up (2 years!!). The staff here made me feel safe and secure in my decision to visit their facility. They were super helpful and informative!

Please go somewhere else! I choose the first dentist office that came up on my google search and boy was that a mistake! My first visit i sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes right infront the counter, when the front desk worker was told did you notice someone in the waiting room she laughed and said no. The lady that cleaned my teeth was very nice, and thats the only good thing i can say. The doctor not so much, lacked bedside manners. After my first visit i was given a treatment plan and a price i would pay out of pocket. I show up to my second visit and was told it would be 400 dollars more

I was very impressed with Dental Innovations upon my visit. The building was clean the staff was nice and the equipment seemed to be up to date. I had a teeth cleaning and got an estimate for additional treatment that I needed. The lady who did the cleaning was very professional and gentle. The Dentist was also very gentle when preforming the exam; I also was very impressed with the time he spent talking with me about additional treatments and the cost of them.
