Dr. Fred Ou-Yang graduated from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry (Southern CA) in 2000. Prior to dental school, he attended UCLA and majored in Biochemistry for his undergraduate studies. Dr. Ou-Yang has been practicing dentistry for 10 years. Prior to starting his private practice in Newark, Dr. Ou-Yang has worked in different dental clinics in Palm Springs and Hayward.
Ever since I got crowns placed on my four front teeth by Dr. Fred Ou-Yang, I smile with confidence. They look real, no one can tell they are crowns, I forget they are crowns. My teeth are not crooked anymore and they are a nicer color. The crowns are the same color of the rest of my teeth. They fixed my problem plus made my smile look better.
Bonding is a popular method to enhance the aesthetics of your smile. Bonding can be used to correct cracks or gaps in teeth, as a filling after a cavity has been removed, or to cover up stains or discolored teeth. A composite resin is used on the affected tooth or teeth. It is molded and sculpted over an adhesive gel that is placed on the tooth.
Dental bridges are a great way to replace missing teeth. Your existing teeth are used to literally create a bridge to cross the area where your tooth is missing. Bridges are made from gold, metal, alloys, or porcelain to ensure that they are strong and durable. The process of creating a bridge begins by creating abutments out of your existing teeth where the bridge will be attached.

I discovered Dr. Ouyang at All Smile Dental Care when an errant steel bar hit me in the mouth at work. The blow broke one front tooth and loosened the other. Though I was not a patient at the time I needed immediate help and called Dr. Ouyang who shuffled appointments in order to see me that morning. Following an exam and an Xray, Dr. Ouyang's advised me to give the loose tooth time to heal. He then made a perfect color match to fill the broken front tooth. Thanks to Dr. Ouyang I still have both teeth and after four years, remain a grateful patient.

I been seeing Dr Ouyang at the All Smile Dental for over 2 years now. The entire team is very caring. For example: just the other day I called in for a chopped tooth, dr ouyang just told me to come in on the same day and installed a filling right away!
I also had an implant done here. Price is reasonable. Overall my entire family rely on Dr. Ouyang for all dental work.

It was my first time with Dr. Out Yang and he was amazing! Professional, nice and thorough. The staff was also nice except for the dental assistant! I had an early morning appointment so I really didnt understand why she was so cranky already. It really did leave a bad taste in my mouth but thank goodness Dr. Yang made up for it.

I’ve been going here for over a decade. Dr Yang and staff are extremely professional and caring to their patients. So much, I’ve recommended 5 family members to them and they also love it there. The office and chairs are extremely clean and they use the latest technology for our dental needs. I recently moved about 45 min away and we continue going to Dr. Yang because this dental office is that good. Thank you for taking care of all of us. During November I suddenly developed some swelling that worsened throughout the day and needed immediate attention, I contacted Dr. Ou-Yang on his personal cell phone and he was able to send in an Rx and fit me in his schedule a few days later. He is a busy man so I greatly appreciated being able to get in touch with him during off hours.

Over 10 years ago, after tired of getting surprised by a few dental offices with the fees, we switched to Dr. Au-Yang, who is my friend's long time dentist. Even we live a few cities away, we don't mind the 30-45 minutes drive.

This is my 6th year going to Dr. Ou-Yang, although I moved to another area so this is no longer the most convenient option. All because Dr. Ou-Yang is the dentist who cares and does a thorough job. My teeth have been healthy so most of the times Dr. Ou-Yang helped on cleaning. He could tell if I drank too much coffee for the past, which acted as a reminder for better dental habit. He once took out a wisdom tooth for me and the way he did was like a charm - quick and less painful! I've been recommending this place to friends and coworkers. Dr. Ou-Yang is the dentist you can trust!

I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I really like the thoroughness of the cleanings that I get here. The most recent cleaning, I had a small cavity. The dentist stayed late to fill it so I don't have to make another trip. That's really cool. Dentist and the front office staff are very friendly and patient. I have been using Dr. Ouyang as my dentist for a few years. Haven't had any problems at all. I like how clean my teeth feels after each cleaning.

This is the second time that I went there for a regular 6 month cleaning but was told that I needed a more thorough cleaning instead. They had told me the same thing the first time when I went there. All my previous dentists just performed regular cleanings for me without telling me that I needed a more thorough cleaning. I was also told that I had a lot of staining due to drinking coffee or tea even though I haven't drink coffee or tea for many years; nor do I smoke cigarettes. So, not sure why the dentist said I have a lot of stains even though my previous dentists never mention that

i came to the Dr. Ou-Yang by recommendation from a friend, i had several issues due to a bad experience. i feel so lucky that finally i found an excellent local Doctor who is an experienced professional who has worked with my budget and prioritized my needs by the severity of issues to fit with my insurance. this is my third year and i have never felt better in years.he has very gentle touch and friendly but professional demeanor. i have brought my whole family to his practice.

I went to the dentist office for routine checkup and cleaning after reading the good reviews here. I was very upset after the visit and just noticed two of the earlier reviews had similar experience as mine about the "regular" teeth cleaning. (This is my first review on yelp. I spent time to write this since I was very upset.)
First, the X-Ray was the most painful X-ray I got. I was instructed to use my hand to hold a stick with a big block (about 1.5 inch by 1 inch) in my mouth DURING X-ray. My arm was close to the X-ray and not behind the protective cover. The block was very uncomfortable

I had been looking for a good dentist. I went to multiple places - then, I found Dr. Fred Ouyang - my two daughters (4 and 8 year-olds), my wife, and I have been seeing him ever since.
What I like most about Dr Fred Ouyang is that he is a very honest dentist who would never cut corners. Unfortunately a few may find his honesty to be offensive. I have seen a dentist in my past who knows how to make me feel good as a patient - but later on l realize that that they didn't do a complete job of cleaning my teeth.
If you are looking for a honest dentist who you can trust and make your teeth healthy

1. Appointment was at 9AM, when they opened, no one arrived until 9:05. They did not call me back until 9:20.
2. Dentist immediately tried to up-sell a bit guard before examining me. He got difficult when I declined stating I had other dental issues I felt were more important.
3. Dentist was rude when asked questions, would not directly answer but say "I will explain it to you" on 3 occasions in my 35 minutes in the chair.
4. He tried to tell me that I needed something other than a regular cleaning and when I told him I wasn't sure that

I have never experienced so much lack of respect in my life. The lady on the front desk was so mean and rude. I am willing to travel extra miles, even willing to pay extra money instead of going that place. You call it anything you want but Doctor Office. Moved to the area and was looking for a new dentist. It was my first time scheduled for a regular cleaning at this office. I was waiting for over 20 mins before I was seen. They wanted do to xray even I provided a copy from previous dentist. 2 second after he looked at my teeth, he demanded a deep cleaning and even gave me a quote for $500+cash. I asked him why do I need deep cleaning as my teeth are very healthy and I've gone to my dentist every 6 month for cleaning with no problem. He then told me he won't do regular cleaning if I don't agree
