Chiropractic care during pregnancy is an essential part of your prenatal care choices. Pre-existing but unnoticed imbalances in your spine and pelvis become stressed during pregnancy. These pronounced discomforts make it difficult to perform routine, daily activities. Proper spinal, pelvis, and sacrum alignment means less aches and pains from postural changes taking place.
The birth process itself whether you give birth naturally or with an intervention can be traumatic to your baby. Pulling, twisting, forceps or vacuum extractions can cause spinal misalignments that may be silent for years. Daily stresses to the spine from falling when learning to walk, falling from the swing set, playing sports, and carrying a backpack must be taken seriously.

I have been seeing Dr. Valente for about eight years. Prior to seeing her, I was extremely hesitant about chiropractors in general. After my 1st appointment (I had trouble standing up straight & was in a great deal of pain), I left the office beating myself up for not going sooner. I felt tremendously better! Dr. Valenti is kind, thorough, professional and most importantly, knows how to relieve my pain. She gives me instructions on how to continue my care at home (ie heating pad, stretching). I give her very high accolades and would recommend her anyone!
