My massage philosophy is to relieve stress and tension through skillful and intuitive touch and to make sure that every client leaves my studio feeling relaxed, refreshed and energized based on their needs. I firmly believe in listening to my clients and paying careful attention to their individual needs and concerns. I have always been intrigued with the human body, how it all works and wellness. I started as a personal trainer and aerobics instructor in the 90's. I love to help people get strong mentally and physically and reach their ultimate fitness goals. During this time my muscles also needed therapy so I began to see a very special therapist who in turn became my mentor and friend.
Working with gravity instead of against it, Ashiatsu therapists are able to provide an effective therapeutic massage without causing pain or discomfort to themselves or the client. An ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction.

I have been to a number of massage facilities over the last 20 years and this is the best that I have experienced. Christin does a fantastic job of working out tightness in my back and tension in my body from the many miles I drive as a field sales rep. On several occasions I have dozed off - now that is relaxation! Whatever the muscular issues that you may be experiencing, Christin will work with you to give you the relief for which you're looking. If you want a massage simply to relax after a stressful day, come here and be prepared to melt on the table. I am sold on the 2 hour massage

Every experience I have had with Christin at Essential Kneads has been beyond exceptional. The ambiance alone is therapeutic and will immediately relax you. Christin is very knowledgeable of the anatomy of muscle and has a healing touch which caused me to drift in and out of consciousness. I went there with muscle soreness in addition to the stress of a hectic day and left like a new man. My experience here was like hitting the reset button.

Wow. I can't say enough about this massage. Essential Kneads is the business name for Christin, who operated out of Essential Health in North Providence. I had a pre-Natal massage with Christin which was out of this world. I was a little nervous, as the place was kind of loud and bustling, but once I was in her room - bliss. Christin was able to rectify the emerging sciatic pain that had been bugging me and gave me an hour and a half of incredible work. I walked out floating on air. Christin is truly a very talented bodyworker and I would highly recommend this experience for any mama
