Dr. Charles T. Hopkins, III DMD is a native of Griffin, Georgia having spent many summer days on St. Simons during his childhood years. A fourth generation dentist, he graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Biology and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia.

Love this entire group! They are friendly and extremely patient and attentive . I use to freeze, they brought a blanket. I am difficult when needing X-rays. They do not rush me, nor do they make me feel like I’m putting them out when I’ve had to stop and start over. I feel as I’m visiting old friends and family each visit.

Wonderful experience every time I’ve been to office. Staff is great. I’ve mostly interacted with Dr Hopkins and Lacey. So kind, professional and they know what they are doing!! And do it well. I had to make several trips for a bridge and every time was a pleasant experience. Lacey (hygienist) and Robin are tops too. I would recommend Plantation Family Dentistry to anyone!!

What a great experience! I am a fearful person when it comes to new physicians and anxious about potential pain. Everyone at Plantation Dental made me feel at ease beginning when I called to make my appointment. I admitted to my lack of bravery and Erika gave me “the best” and most painless cleaning I have ever experienced. Dr. Melton and his highly competent assistant, Lacey, have gotten me out of a dental-crisis jam again. I made the mistake of biting into a hard bagel, and broke a tooth. Dr. Melton put a crown on the tooth,… and did so efficiently and so well that my bite again feels totally normal.
