When we have our initial consultation with clients inquiring about probate, we always go over the basics of how the process works and what the responsibilities of a personal representative entail. I hired Eric Landeen to set up and complete probate of my sister's estate. The process went very smoothly and took only a few months to complete. His rates were fair, communication was great, and all documents were filed very quickly. Best of all, Eric does not talk down to me when discussing topics of the probate that I did not understand at first. He explains topics very well in easy to understand discussion, just like speaking with a close friend or family member. This morning I contacted Mr. Eric Landeen’s Office and left a message. Immediately he sent me an email and left a message via phone. I retuned his call and stated I would like to ask some questions concerning a recent probate issue. He was very responsive and stated he was on his way to an appointment but had plenty of time to answer any questions. He was very patient and answered all of my questions thoroughly. He spent at least 15 minutes of his time assisting me which gave me piece of mind. I want to thank him for his care and concern. I would not hesitate to hire Mr. Landeen if my situation

I recently worked with Eric at Probate Attorneys of WA on a will and associated trust.
I had contacted 3 separate folks in the area and one took 2weeks to get back, another wanted to charge me $100 to have a 15min 'assessment of needs' (ugh, right?), so i chose Eric (who got back right away with a free phone call), and very happy i did so.
Eric is professionally nimble and can cover a variety of needs around probate, wills, trusts, directives, etc - so i will look forward to working with him again.
I'd say Eric is kinda like an old time 'country lawyer' - very personable, communicative, flexible

What qualities would you hope to find in a probate attorney? For me, they are: professional expertise, good communication, efficiency, and reasonable fees. My experience with Eric Landeen of Probate Attorneys would lead me to give him an "A" on all four.

Mr. Landeen helped me negotiate a very complicated real estate/mortgage purchase contract. There was very clear communication with him, and Eric was able to understand and facilitate my needs by updating the contract, with appropriate changes. He was fair in price, and I am happy with the outcome. I definitely recommend Eric.
