Location and quality. I found a house that is minutes from my work, my gym, and my daughter's school. It was located in a safe neighborhood that didn't have a lot of thru-traffic. It was constructed well-not just slapped together-and I knew that I wasn't going to have to sink a lot of money into repairs, renovations, or heating and cooling costs.
Our home had everything we were looking for, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, living space and square footage, in our price range. In the market we were dealing with, that was a miracle! Location was a huge factor for us. We were moving from out of town so we didn't have a specific neighborhood we were hoping for, but we wanted to be in a quiet neighborhood where the kids could ride bikes and play outside with other kids in the neighborhood.
What we liked most about our house was the area and the incredible view from our back patio. We wanted to make sure we were in a good school district for Mason and a good family community.
