Dr. Theethaye Ittiara is a psychiatrist in Adrian, Michigan and is affiliated with Beaumont Hospital-Dearborn. He received his medical degree from Calicut Medical College and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He is one of 14 doctors at Beaumont Hospital-Dearborn who specialize in Psychiatry.
A psychiatrist is a doctor with specific training in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness. He or she can not only provide the counseling necessary to both diagnose and treat a patient, but can also prescribe medication when needed. In some cases, a psychiatrist will only provide the medication and the counseling will be provided by another healthcare specialist, like a certified counselor or psychologist.

I have Gary as my psychiatrist and he is great. He will listen to you, tell you about the meds he suggests, and let you pick what you think is right for you in the end. He lets you know the side effects of each medication and it's really beneficial. I haven't had someone like him before and I'm very grateful I found him. He is a diamond in the rough.

If I could give less stars i would. I called inquiring about someone I had been talking too, the front desk told me they were transferring me to someone who could take care of my problem. They transferred me to Melinda (refused to give me her last name) she was completely rude and nasty. Told me the front desk did not tell me that (called me a liar) and then made a threatening remark to me about a letter I needed. Why is she allowed to do this? Treat people this way? I will NEVER recommend or have anything good to say about this place. I am completely disgusted .She refused to listen to me an would

The office staff were friendly. I followed therapist matthew from Three Rivers. He worked with my teenage boys and myself. My boys are still doing great and I'm in the process of switching insurance so Matt can see me again. All of us were able to avoid medications because of his superb clinical skills.

I followed Mathew to this facility as I've been a client for almost two years, and has consistently done phenomenal progress with me. He is consistent and flexible with whatever issues there may be with personal scheduling or forms of communication. Best of all, you can tell that he is genuinely passionate about the work he does and cares for each of his clients and their wellbeing. Through my experiences with other therapists and counselors, he has been the most helpful, resourceful, effective, and friendly.

I would highly recommend Adrian Counseling and Psychiatric clinic. The staff is professional and kind. I did have one issue and that the receptionist informed me that My provider Would not see me anymore, but that seems to be a misunderstanding, as my provider would see me , it's just that she wanted to see me Before she would prescibe. Which makes sense.
