Unfortunately did not have a great experience :( I needed a simple jump start. They said it would be 25-30 minutes. I waited for 1 hour. I called to ask what the hold up is, the technician apologizes and says he'll be there in another half hour. I say okay and I wait. 30 minutes goes by, then I wait another 15 just to give him the benefit of the doubt. I call again and he mumbles something about eating lunch and says he'll be there in another 20-30 minutes. I said no thank you, and used another service. First world problems, I know. But it was super inconvenient. I hate posting negative

Hawk Towing is not a reliable towing company. I called the day before to schedule an appointment to have my car towed to the dealership. The day of my appointment, I called the company and was told the towing truck was about 20 minutes late. After waiting for 20 minutes, the truck did not arrive. I called back again, and was told the truck was en route but stuck in traffic and would be to my location within 15 minutes. At this point, I had to push back my appointment at the dealership. My car broke down on the side of the road, when I called them, they gave me an eta of 30 minutes. Then they called back with an eta of 60 minutes. After an hour and a half, the truck finally called and didn't understand when I told him I was on the south side of an intersection. Will not use this service ever again.

BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH! Quoted $84 dollars over the phone for a jumpstart. Guy came out and knocked it out in under 5 mins. Once the job was complete, the guy onsite told me $134. I argued and got it down to $100 after calling Customer service back, being told "$84 is the minimum." After the fact, company says $84 for service, $50 to have a guy go to site -- which is NEVER MENTIONED at any point until AFTER service is completed. They're slick in taking your CC info on phone before services rendered, so you're stuck once you're informed of the price switch. Shady tactic

The worst experience!!! Got flat tire on the road. It took 3 hours till a guy showed up. Initially I was told it will take maximum 40 min for a guy to show up. Their representative on the phone was rude and annoyed by my followup calls. Very unreliable place, liars, over priced, ... zero star for this place

Called Hawk Towing, they quoted me one price to give me a jump. I accepted. A little while later i get a call from the actual person who was coming and he quoted another price. I had to call back then they said the price difference was because of the time of night, it would be higher since it was after 10pm. It was 10:30. Really? Anyway ended up costing me about 100 dollars just to get a jump not to mention the guy was way in long beach at home while we were "negotiating" the price. I got AAA the next day. never again.

I called these guys to come replace my battery at home. The lady on the phone gave me a $150 quote to come to my house and replace my battery. She was very nice and told me that if I decided to have them replace my battery and not just jump my car, the waive the $50 service charge and my total would be $150. Then she proceeded to let me know that my service agent would be to my house in 35-45 minutes with the battery. My car wouldn't start so I called to get a quote on roadside assistance and maybe towing. The base price for having somebody coming out to look at the car was around $80. Towing would have been an extra $100 or more. I called AAA right after and bought a new membership for about $70 which included immediate roadside assistance and up to 5-6 miles of free towing. AAA came out and fixed the problem. No towing needed.
Long story short, don't waste your money on hawk. Just buy a new AAA membership on the spot.

I wish I'd checked Yelp before calling Hawk. This business is deceptive. First, they are not located in the cities they claim. I called from Pasadena and they said 20 minutes. After 20 minutes I called and they said another half hour because the truck was stuck in traffic. Another 30 minutes I called and truck still stuck in traffic. There was no traffic on streets of Pasadena. Because I believed their dtime estimate and didn't call a trustworthy place, I missed an important appointment.

Had a flat tire and called this company. The lady on the phone was very nice and helpful and got through the information quickly. The problem I had was the tow driver. After I competed the call, he calls me 10 minutes later to say he is finishing a job, he will be there in around 20 min. I think that is totally fine and hang out and wait. 40 min later, he is nowhere in sight. So I call him back. He proceeds to tell me the last job took longer than expected and now he is out of fuel so it will be another 45 minutes to an hour before he can get to me. I said screw it and told him to cancel

Avoid them at all cost. I called them for a jump start. Whoever they sent knew nothing about cars. He looked totally lost under the hood. He could not get the car to start and still charged an outrageous $95 jump start fee plus a $45 emergency fee plus a $25 service fee plus $9 credit card fee. Then he had the nerve to ask for a tip. Even though he couldn't get the car to start, he sent away a passing tow truck that offered to help.
I had to walk to a body shop. They looked at it and quickly knew that a terminal connection was loose. Charged me nothing. Avoid Hawk due to the cost

I ask for a towing service at 10:30 in the morning and the driver finally arrives at 12:30.
That is 2 hours! And that is not the end of the story. They charged me twice $120 and $290. What?? Then I called them during which they keeps me waiting and waiting for another two more hours. Really really good job Hawk Towing. I wonder how could they possibly run a business.
