Chupik Counseling & Consultants
Do you or your child feel overwhelmed or trapped by personal or relationship challenges? Are you ready to make a positive change but are unsure what steps you can take to start feeling better? Life presents a wide variety of difficulties, and issues like depression, anxiety, grief and anger; these can have a profound impact on our wellbeing and our relationships.

Thankfully, we have the power within ourselves to overcome these obstacles, but sometimes we all need a little help. For over 20 years, the team of experienced, licensed therapists at Chupik Counseling has been helping individuals, families and couples learn to recognize and address challenges in their lives.
Services
Are you interested in private practice? Chupik Counseling & Consulting is a group of independently licensed, self-employed clinicians. We are continuously seeking licensed clinicians to join our groups in Austin, Temple, or Killeen. Our business model is to provide our group members (associates) with all of the support and tools needed in private practice so they may focus on what matters most, their clinical work with patients!
Have you been feeling down or sad for a long time? Do you sometimes become tearful for no reason? Do you find that you are no longer interested in the things you used to enjoy? Maybe you have little to no energy. Perhaps you have felt this way for a long time and wish you could feel better but nothing seems to help.
Are you overwhelmed by fear or worry? Maybe your mind is busy all the time, filled with thoughts about everything that could possibly go wrong. Perhaps you think so much about potential problems at work, home or in your relationships that you have trouble getting things done, or even getting through the day.
Do you feel that your use of alcohol or drugs has gotten out of hand? Have you used alcohol or other drugs to avoid problems in your life or cope with physical or emotional pain? Has substance abuse or addiction resulted in loss of control, impacting your career, reputation or relationships with friends or family?
Do you use the internet as a way to cope with or find relief from stress? Do you feel more confident and connected when you are online than when you are physically interacting with someone? Has your internet use, abuse or addiction led to negative consequences at home or at work? You may feel embarrassed or ashamed about your use and try to hide or lie about your compulsive internet use to coworkers or loved ones.

I called the office and was told that they didn't take any government insurance such as medicaid or medicare. I have Humana PPO and Humana site showed that they took my insurance. I contacted Humana and told them to remove them from their site. I also told the intake person at Chupik that they need to update their site because it says that they take both of my insurances. The lady was not helpful and very discouraging.

The first scheduled appointment I was physically in her office when she informed me that she wouldn’t be able to see my daughter(who was in the waiting room) that day due to not having a paper signed that I did not know about until that moment. They then rescheduled her for several weeks later. The morning of this appointment, I got a call that the appointment was cancelled. The counselor apparently

Love this place! The offices have the best vibes, and the people are all wonderful! Been a client for about 5 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Jessica Hendrix is a fabulous therapist. She is compassionate, understanding, and challenging as well. I have been to a few therapists in my life, including Chupik herself. Jessica has by far been more impactful in a much shorter period of time.
