Andy Warren, owner of Andy's Painting, Inc., started painting in 1975 during high school. He continued painting through college where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas University in 1984. Andy opened his first painting company in 1984. In 1986 The Sherwin-Williams Paint Company offered Andy a position in their manager training program.
From 1986 to 2001 Andy managed stores in Kansas City, Arkansas, Wichita and Albuquerque. During that time He acquired extensive training and product knowledge. Andy also worked in the field with contractors to specify paint products, specialized coatings and trouble shoot problems.

Stucco is a cement based coating that is troweled on. There are also synthetic stucco coatings available now that are more flexible and these are usually applied with a trowel also. The application with a trowel allows a texture to be created. The cement based stucco will crack over time as the house settles.

I moved to Albuquerque from Georgia in October of 2020 and purchased a condo in NE Albuquerque. I originally called Mike's Quality Painting to paint all the rooms in the interior of my condo. I do have to say, while the painters did a very good job painting, I can not say the same for the office staff at Mike's Painting. I needed to have the interior repainted as the original colors came out too light. I decided to have the interior repainted and knew that there was no way I was going to call Mike's Painting and deal with their office staff again. I heard Andy's had quite a few 5 star reviews so

Nevin gave us an estimate which was hands-down the best in Albuquerque. Our great room has no ceiling to paint and very little wall space. I felt this was reflected in the estimate. Being new to Albuquerque, I was thankful Andy’s had been recommended since the estimate was considerably lower than other companies that I might not have considered them.

I am beyond five stars, my home looks amazing. Joe and his crew were great, Mike who was filling in cracks did it very detailed not just a glob of filler. The pricing was great and you get your moneys worth in workmanship. My crew as I call them addressed all my questions and after it was finished walked me around for final approval. They even hung my large ristra for me. It was a hot two days so I made sure they had plenty of cold water. So happy. My home looks brand new.

So far, our experience in the Land of Mañana has been just that: everything seems to be put off til tomorrow. From my recent misadventures with a more prominent local daycare to getting a simple return phone call for servicing my car, it seems that no one here is in a hurry to make customers happy and any problems are just ignored until some indeterminate future date. Andy's has partially restored my faith in Albuquerque.

I just watched a man from this company beat up a teenage boy in the Hasting's lobby and throw items at three teenagers. His Honda Pilot had this company's information on the side so I decided to make it public. If this is how employees, or worse, the owner behave, I will make sure to steer business away from them. I would hate to have an abusive man painting anything of mine.

I bought a home last year and originally contacted them to paint the interior before I moved in. They were not able to do it in my timeframe, so I hired someone else. I also hired a flooring company to replace our floors.
The flooring company ended up damaging our walls during the installation and offered to pay to have them repainted. Because we wanted to use Andy's from the start and time was no longer an issue (we'd already moved in), we decided to use them.
Apparently, the owner (Andy) took it personally that we used

I contacted several company's to get quotes for painting the exterior of my home. Several contractors responded including Andy's. After receiving quotes and interacting with the various contractors I decided to move forward with Andy's. Several of the contractors seemed very unprofessional and came across as fly by night businesses. Andy was very professional, he arrived on time, he listened very carefully to my requirements and he wrote up a quote for the work and delivered it to me within a few days.

We've hired Andy's Painting for several jobs. They are fantastic and I've been really happy with the results. FAST, professional, quality work. Unlike other companies, when you get a quote from Andy's that's the price you'll pay. There's no hidden up charge, which I greatly appreciate. They are super responsive too. On more than one occasion, they've come out on weekends to complete work that I've wanted done on an urgent basis. Good luck finding that elsewhere!
