Steve Pagano opened Steve's Truck Stop in June of 1953 as a two-bay truck repair shop serving the Silver Creek area, as well as drivers passing through Chautauqua County, NY. Prior to starting his own business, Steve was a truck driver and then worked as a millwright for Ford. However, he had grown increasingly dissatisfied with factory work and decided he could do better for himself and his family with his own truck service shop.
Steve's Equipment Co. Truck & Auto Repair provides high-quality auto repair services for all vehicle makes and models, including cars, trucks, 4x4s, duallies, RVs, motorhomes, and trailers. We specialize in steering, suspension, brakes, and wheel alignments, and we conduct a 31-point vehicle inspection with every service to identify issues before they become major problems.
Steve's Truck & Auto Repair has been owned and operated by the same family for three generations, consistently providing honest and reliable vehicle services for Silver Creek area drivers. We just arrived at our Massachusetts destination after Steve’s equipment did lots of maintenance work on our RV. Everything on the whole trip purred like a kitten. We didn’t get to run the generator yet but we’re sure the work you have done on that will also, as usual, be superb.
Sorry you had so much trouble getting the needed brackets for the generator exhaust but we appreciate you sticking to the original plan.

During our trip to the east coast our motorhome broke down, they agreed to work on it, Dave their Master mechanic worked on his day off to get us back on the road. We ended up having another issue with it and had to leave it. The team at Steve’s kept us informed along the way to repairing our motorhome. They did a fantastic job and made sure everything was done correctly. I highly recommend this shop! Thanks again for the great job and special thanks to Dave for all his work and professionalism!

Since moving to the Silver Creek area my family and I have been searching for a local trustworthy mechanic to be able to take our vehicles for service. Have been a customer for a few years now and not disappointed. Timely, Professional, No hassle, No BS service. They tell you upfront what needs to be done on your vehicles and what you can wait on till it needs service. Extremely friendly service and building has had some major upgrades over the past year or so and that's a plus.
