In the early 1970s, our owner, Dennis Mommens moved to the Mexico area, hauling propane and eventually started working in the heating and cooling business for a local company. In 1997, Dennis, knowing he could provide the area with the best customer service around, ventured on his own and opened Mommens Heating and Cooling LLC.

Since 1997, Mommens Heating and Cooling has steadily grown by offering technical service and quality installation of heating and cooling equipment in the Mexico, MO and sorrounding areas. We are small town father and son team which has rooted us deep in the community. Our goal is to offer reliable and consistent presence in the HVAC market.
We offer sale, service and installation of all equipment we provide plus service to all commercial and residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, geothermal systems and water heaters. We also service commercial kitchen equipment and small refrigeration systems, up to 40 tons. This may not sound like it's directly related to air conditioning and heating, but it is extremely important.
Of course, we want your furnace and air conditioning running at its highest efficiency and providing you with the maximum amount of comfort. We feel bad when we have to charge our customers to do simple repairs they might have been able to fix without our help.
