An 18 wheeler lost a tire in the highway and tore up the radiator in my car. I called my insurance company and they said it would be 2 hours before someone would pick me up. I called another tow company it was 85.00 to hook up and some egregious price per mile. I called United Roadside and they were to me within 20 minutes, towed my car for a flat fee to my mechanic and I had everything taken care of in an hour.

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value
AAA did not have a tow truck available for over 3 hrs. We searched the net for a tow near us and found United Roadside. Called and they arrived in 25 minutes like he said. Quick load and he took to dealership. No problem! Great Service!

They do not keep promises.
Driver didn't call as promised. Associate didn't call as promised. I had to call 5 times to obtain proof my vehicle was where it should be. They sent them after pressure was placed on them by AAA.
Could not ride in truck because driver had groceries on his seat.
I didn't mind , because I was promised a call. Don't make promises if you do not plan to follow through.

I have roadside assistance with my cell provider and this was the company dispatched to tow my car. They NEVER showed up, marked job as complete after I waited an hour, and wouldnt answer phone when called about why. I had too call roadside provider again and wait another hour for a different tow company that actually does their job. Dont use this company if you want an ACTUAL tow.

Total price gouging during a disaster. Our car had to be towed about 2 miles after it was flooded out with Hurricane Harvey. The driver
didn't seem to know how to get my car onto the flatbed. He charged us $350. Worst tow company ever. I would avoid this company at all costs.
My husband had his car towed the next day by dexter's wrecker service. completely professional and they charged the standard rates for towing his car about 20 miles. ($125) Avoid United Roadside and towing--they lack ethics, morality and compassion.

Our car broke down on us at a local hotel. The gear wS stuck in drive and would not shift to park. We called them on a Sunday and was quoted $150 to tow our car home. The driver arrived 35 minutes after we called. He listened to our problem, looked under the hood, and inside of the car. He noticed some wires were loose and gave it a temporary fix. We were only charged $85 and were able to drive it home ourselves.

It is unfortunate that Yelp requires you to give at least a 1 star rating. These people are total crooks and don't even deserve 1 star. Not only are they operating outside of the law in the State of Texas because their license was revoked, but they are also operating without insurance. So when they damage your vehicle, and most likely they will because zero fcuks are given about your vehicle and the proper way to hook it up to the truck, you will find yourself screwed. The guy, Russel, who was towing me back home after we called AAA, scratched the underside of my nissan getting it off his truck. I had even expressed concern that the car looked like it would get scratched, but he brushed me off and continued to unload the car. When it scraped the cement, he pretended not to hear, and then when I pointed it out to him he didn't even acknowledge what I said, quickly said good-bye, and took off. How do you call that good service?
