All of our clinicians have excellent training, credentials and are Board Certified. Everyday they continue to learn and to grow more in caring for children. It has been fun to watch our/your kids develop and then return as parents themselves. Just as the metro DC area has changed and grown (and unfortunately, so has the traffic), so we have expanded to meet the needs of our families.
We start early to accommodate school, commutes, and just life in general. Also, we have welcomed new physicians and nurse practioners to support our busy families. Kid's illnesses can never be planned and usually happen at the most inopportune time. To help you with these times, we started new walk-in hours both in the morning and evening.

Services
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or authorized adult. Children's illnesses and injuries, though frequent, are almost always unexpected. Thus we have an open door access policy: we will see any child on any day the office is open. Please note that a potentially serious illness and/or antibiotic prescription will never be managed over the phone.
2. Summer Hours: 9am-5pm by appointment only. 3. The summer is here! Please be responsible for keeping your kids free of sunburns. We recommend SPF 30 or above and reapplication every 2 hours or after swimming/sweating. 4. Our mild temperatures this Winter has set us up for a lot of ticks this Summer.
We are proud to announce that we were recently awarded a Certificate of Recognition from the Fairfax County Health Department. They recognized our ongoing efforts towards our "commitment to providing immunizations to children in our community as well as protecting the overall health and well-being of children in our community."
We are very proud to introduce you to our new waiting room and front desk makeover! Have you had a chance to see our renovation? If not, then please come by the office and see our beautiful new entrance for yourself! We are happy to give our patients a lovely, comfortable, FUN space to enjoy. As always, we are here for you, our families, and hope to continue to serve you in the best way.
All to often we do not emphasize the important "air quality" issues in the prevention and management of children with Asthma ( also called " Reactive Airway Disease"). The focus tends to be on medicatio and treatment but should include vigorous efforts at prevention. The new guidelines, especially for very young children, shift the focus from WHAT is on the screen to WHO else is in the room.

The new staff member, Kevin, has made all the difference for my kids this past week. He is skilled, patient, kind, and even managed to help my 2 year old stop sobbing before he had to swab him for strep. Burke Pediatrics was brilliant to hire Kevin, he is truly fantastic and certainly put this mom’s heart at ease.

Only reason my kids go to this office is convenience.
1. Front desk does NOT have customer service skills!
2. I am charged $25 a piece for shot records that's $100.
3. Keith and I did start off on the wrong foot, however we have a mutual understanding at this point for the sake of a common goal.
It can be frustrating attempting to communicate with the front staff over the phone, to the point you'd like to use very unsavory words towards them.
The produce a lot of sarcasm, and I give it right back.... you ask them a question & it's like pulling teeth. In the last couple of years my children

This was the last straw, and the 50 negative reviews speak for themselves. I would like to just take a moment and say that a "pediatrician" should not be allowed to operate after so many complains. We've been coming here for 8 years, that's a long time, and this past week we were literally attacked by the front desk staff. One of them slammed the door on my son while cursing and luckily I was able to block it before she hit him in the face. We came in because my son had a potential finger fracture, the front desk attendants are new and they kept talking about not seeing patients in the parking

I will Never recommend this practice! This place doesn't have any costumer service skills at all. Front desk receptionist is RUDE and can care less about it. Manager is never available to talk or to call back. Overall this place its the worse to take your kids. Don't waste your time. Find a real doctor.
update on my review 06/17/2020 Finally got to talk to the " office manager" She was rude over the phone and disrespectful. Barely helpful, She make me feel like my kids don't matter as a patient to this practice because I just requested medical records to be release. She was not professional AT

The doctors and nurses at this facility are very knowledgeable and have a great bedside manner. However, the consistent lack of respect, poor communication, and dismissive attitude by members of the front desk staff really make us question whether this is the place for us. We've experienced and witnessed condescending manners on multiple visits. We're all just there to take care of our kids, particularly when they're sick. Having to deal with a bad attitude from the front desk, both in person and by phone, doesn't help.

We absolutely loved the nurse practitioner Kristy. Not only did she answer all our questions but she also never rushed us. She even called to check on our son the next day to see how he was feeling and I know it was her day off. You don't see that level of care anymore but she took time out of her day just to call and check in.

As already shared by other reviewers, this place was once a wonderful pediatric office for your children but that is no longer the case. The full experience of having your child seen by a doctor also includes the contact you have with office staff over the phone and in person. We started having issues with Burke Pediatrics once the new staff (front desk) came on board. In particular, Keith has been nothing but a pain to interact with. He is very rude and lacks customer service skills. Recently, he lost my child’s completed school entrance health form and rudely yelled at me to fill out a new

I really wanted to like this place. We have just moved here and this is so close to our house. I have three kids under 5 so I’ve had my fair share of doctors experience throughout these past few years. This has been the least compassionate, child friendly and most traumatizing of them all!
No one speaks to the child. Explanations are only given in form of pamphlets. My daughter received shots and of course kids cry. This time the nurse brought in four siringes and my kid got terrified. She’s four and asked the nurse a number of questions, like where are you going to put the shots, what is

Cross posted from my review on yelp: I was surprised that they didn't have a yelp review or business since they apparently have been there for many years. There are reviews on google and they are helpful. We are not clients, but went in for a appointment to help pick a pediatrician. Their office staff was not straight forward with us. The question on if "is there a charge for this consult" and gave us many different answers and was a bit confrontational when I said I don't care if we were being charging out of pocket - "is there a charge to our insurance". We were first told no - and then 10 minutes

I do not recommend Burke Pediatrics for two reasons:
First, my young daughter got the croup (the actual kind). She was having mild breathing trouble. We went there, and the nurse practitioner said she needed to go to the hospital by ambulance. She left the room to consult with the doctor. The doctor NEVER entered the room to examine my girl. If it was such an emergency, I would expect the actual doctor to at least come in an advise and examine. Good luck getting an actual doctor to examine your kids.
Second, their billing department is terrible. They get everything mixed up and will send you
