Jerome M. Charen, Chairman of Charen, Palitz and Rosenberg, has more than 40 years of personal experience as an attorney for businesses and nonprofit organizations, including acting as a principal in the formation, operation, funding and sale of entities. After a stint in the U.S. Army, Jerome M. Charen attended Temple University and prior to completing his undergraduate degree, was accepted at Temple University Law School.
In the early stage of formation, there is always a need for capital for real estate purchase or lease, equipment purchases, employee compensation, and many other costs. While a business is running, small business operations need capital whether it is expanding or declining.

Our firm has relationships with banks, non-banking institutions, and private sources that can provide the whole gamut of funding, including equity-based, asset-based, investment-type, and other imaginative methods. The amounts available are almost limitless, but it takes the seasoned counsel to help a business through the capital maze.
The firm, and Jerome M. Charen specifically, has served as a turnaround specialist to many companies, organizations, and groups, including the African American Museum of Philadelphia, a major health facility, and other clients. He has also served as president and sole director of a healthcare company at the recommendation of a major Philadelphia law firm.
There are many different circumstances where the services of a temporary or interim CEO are necessary: the CEO may have died, resigned, been fired, cited by regulatory agency, or eliminated from the company. The team at Charen, Palitz and Rosenberg can work with you in facilitating a smooth continuation of the business - with either transition or corporate sale - and helps you keep the company on track.
Nonprofit organizations are an essential part of our society - and they need quality representation as much as for-profit companies. Are your officers and directors knowledgeable as to their legal and fiduciary responsibilities?. Less exposure to liability (to the organization and its individual managers and directors);.
