Hi, I'm Melissa and I am the Office Manager for Dr. Medina. My husband and I live in the Houston area and very much enjoy our grandchildren. We love to travel and go on cruises. I have been in orthodontics for over 10 years and am privileged to say I have been a member of Dr. Medina's team for all 10 of those years.

Very disappointed with the results!! Medina is nice, but at the end of over 2 years of treatment my child's teeth are not straight. Before the braces were removed, I questioned her about 1 front tooth looking crooked, it was hard to tell under the braces but I noticed and questioned her about it. Medina said it was fine and the braces should be removed. Then when the braces were removed, the tooth is crooked and her teeth stuck out a little they are not straight down vertically. It looks like an overbite. When the plastic retainer arrived, it is all very noticeable on the retainer too. We

Pros: The staff is always polite and professional. The office is very inviting. I also love that Dr. Medina gives back to the community...she is very involved!
Cons: Their office hours do not accommodate the working professional. Initially I was told that Dr. Medina had one late day a month. However this hasn't been extended to me. My daughter has to have her device tightened every 3-4 weeks, unfortunately I'm a teacher and I can NOT take off 1/2 a day every 3-4 weeks. Oh well, I have to come every 2-3 months...had I known this, I may have chosen a different orthodontist.

Medina Orthodontics is by far the best office in Katy and the surrounding area. Prior committing with Dr. Medina I had consultations with 4 other local Katy doctors. I took the time to learn as much as possible from each doctor as I would have to spend a lot of time with them over the course of my treatment. In addition, I wanted a long term relationship so that my children would eventually have someone to go to that I was 100% comfortable with.
