UPDATE - Be sure to call their main number (619) 501-5888 (not any of the numbers they call you from like 619-876-5322) or you will go straight to their voicemail and they will not call you back.
I am still annoyed that they never called me back when I left a couple messages on the 5322 line.
I had to drive over there to get through to them. I was pretty frustrated, annoyed and angry, but John was so happy and nice I could not bear to be mean to him. And I know it was not his fault.
I changed from One Star to Three Stars because of John that works there behind the counter.

So let me preface this review by stating that the experience from my previous pharmacy after being swallowed up by another chain was less than stellar which is an understatement. However, I'm basing my experience on my initial encounter with my new pharmacy. First, the establishment is clean, minimal decor, bright, pandemic ready, and conveniently located. The best pharmacy. Was happy to find a pharmacy that has delivery and supports the lgbtq community. Stephanie and Paul are awesome! If there's an issue they are more than happy and so nice about answering any concerns or issues. I love the sense of community they offer. I've been with other delivery pharmacies but this is hands down the best!

I like to boost small local businesses but have had nothing but problems at this pharmacy. There's something wrong with my order almost every month. They cannot seem to communicate with my doctor, partly because they still insist on using outdated paper faxes. Automatic refills almost never happen without me going in, sometimes more than once, to request in person. Yesterday they called to tell me my order was ready and when I got there not only was it not ready, they still claimed to have no response from my doctor and had done nothing about it, as usual. Go elsewhere.

Zero stars should be an option. I called in my order yesterday morning. When I arrived today they first said they didn't have my order, which already upset me. Since I placed the order at 9am the morning before. They where wrong, apparently they are just disorganized and said they did have my order when I asked them to clarify and they checked their records again. They actually did have the order placed. However they only processed 1/2 of my order. I had to call my doctors office, who said they never received the order at all. I checked back with Pride, they gave me some nonsensical excuses

The WORST PHARMACY I have EVER dealt with. Was suppose to get pain meds on a Thur . Saw delivery company come to door on video camera but never left package or a door hanger. Called pharmacy and they said it would be delivered either Fri or Sat.. No delivery so I called Mon and they said delivery would be Tues. GUESS WHAT NO DELIVERY. OH WE ARE SORRY DELIVERY COMPANY HAS LEFT YOUR AREA. Meanwhile I am out of pain meds for 3rd straight day..and they do not care... DO NOT USE. STAY AWAY...

Somehow I always end up with a surplus of medications from Pride. Way better then the alternative I think. Staff is fast and friendly. I have been coming here since 2013 and switched from AHF Pharmacy. AHF Pharmacy isn't bad, but parking on 4th ave is such a pain I just decided to switch to Pride which has a parking lot.

The pharmacy forgot to fill one of three daily prescriptions I take on the Friday before a long weekend. I called to make sure it was ready for when they opened again and I still had to wait more than half an hour when I got there to get it filled. If you enjoy accurate and timely service, this may not be the place for you.

I was recently introduced to Pride Pharmacy, and, so far, it has been great! My Rx was for an expensive relatively new med, and the local Walmart wanted to charge me over $300 and were unable to utilize the coupon I gave them despite several attempts. The drug rep said that some people had good luck w/ Pride Pharmacy. They are about 45 minutes from me, but I tried them because I was told they deliver. It only cost me $50! Honestly, they could not have been more professional and efficient! Somehow, THEY were able to cut through the red tape that Walmart could not. The next day I received a voicemail

I for one am extremely happy and grateful for this pharmacy and especially Stephanie who helped me over the phone yesterday. My optomologist prescribed me an expensive eye drop that couldn't be substituted with anything else. This eye drop is normally $280 for a small bottle. I went to 3 different chain pharmacies and not a single pharmacy was able to apply any coupons that would bring it lower than $220. I finally called here and Stephanie took all of maybe 5 minutes and found a coupon from the manufacturer that brought the price down to $60!!!!!!!!! AND had it promptly delivered this morning

And she tell me they have wrong address 2 days after , 4 days after no one call me or say anything I call again no one delivery, I call again, they say tomorrow, nothing , I call again finally they delivery after 8 days , and one person call me about my medication still on the pharmacy 8 days after , I don't recommend this place at all the service sucks
And next time don't give me excuses just read all the information I let for you guys

These guys had a 5. Not anymore. I asked them for something very simple so I don't have to jump through hoops but they were unwilling to assist me. I'm extremely disappointed that they weren't willing to help me with something so simple. Lupe is still a great asset to the pharmacy but he couldn't save them from this review.

This pharmacy is the absolute best in Hillcrest and even San Diego for that matter! They are so nice and go above and beyond when dealing with you and your medications. I filed a complaint with the Pharmacy Board of California and gave them the rundown of what happened. They asked for copies of messages and other information... so hopefully they investigate and send this place a warning letter about their behavior. Not sure what the outcome will be, but I had to do my part and at least report the incident to the appropriate regulatory agency.
