The history of Lorena Pharmacy began in 1922 when a small pharmacy opened called Warnacks Pharmacy. The brick building originally stood on the corner of Jane and Stevenson Street, now known as Lorena Street and Whittier Blvd. In 1928 the family that currently operates Lorena Pharmacy bought an interest in the pharmacy.
The original store was quite small and had an 11 stool soda fountain where ice cream sodas sold for 15 cents. Most of the prescriptions were compounded and made by our pharmacists from bulk chemicals. Pharmacists could be seen compounding formulas using a mortar and pestle. The store was later remodeled and the outside had a completely new look with the Rexall colors of bright blue and orange being evident on the tiles and signs.

I was DESPERATE for some med supplies on a SUNDAY as Nana was being released early from hospital. Most (all?) medical supply stores were closed.
Not this place! Worth the drive for me: EVERYTHING I needed to outfit a shower for handicap ... And even some things I didn't KNOW I needed!

This pharmacy is fantastic! During these hard times it’s nice to find a store that was just so helpful and wanted to help you. I needed a special over-the-counter drug that I was have a hard time getting and other chain pharmacies...I googled the drug I need and Lorena Pharmacy came up so... I called them. One of their representatives ,Rosa, handled my phone call. She was absolutely wonderful. Even though I not in their delivery zone...,iI’m over 20 miles away from them...@they were willing to deliver by the next day. I was also able to order a larger quantity of that medication for my mother

I was in the area after seeing a Podiatric and my husband suggested I come here. I walk in, drop off my prescriptions, and was advised it was a 40min wait. I don't live in the area nor around the corner therefore decided to grab something to eat and kill time.
Fast forward, 40min have gone by and I successfully pick up my prescriptions.
Customer service was good just horrible wait time!!!

I want to thank Angie the manager for helping me make a decision on a humidifier that I needed.Also helping me with my daughters medication.Me and my family have been filling our prescriptions for many year's and will continue to go to Lorena Pharmacy nothing feels better then supporting a private Pharmacy over corporation. This Pharmacy is trash please don't come here according to my doctor they fax my sons prescription twice and supposedly the pharmacy never received the prescription Angie the manager is very rude I feel like she just wanted to steal my sons medication I had been a loyal Lorena pharmacy for years not any more

I have been a Lorena pharmacy for 26 years and there are several wonderful employees who have helped over the years, but one employee stands out and I look forward to seeing her every time I visit. This employees name is Honey Barranco. She is the friendliest, nicest and I love her personality. She’s the BEST!!!!
I also look forward to seeing Martha(pharmacist) and Silvia Galvan as well. Keep up the great work!!!!!!

I went to pick up a prescription of several medications for my dad. My dads doctor had already called in the order. When I got there I was surprised of how big the pharmacy is.
There was many people there. I thought I was going to be in for a long wait but to my surprise it was fast. A young lady her name Jackie helped me. Jackie gave me instructions on all of the medications. I was asking many questions and she answer everything. She asked Chi the pharmacist to give me a counsel. Chi the pharmacist was very helpful.
I was very surprised on the fast service.

Had to get a few things while I was in town last week and happened to come across this pharmacy! I have had so-so experiences at pharmacies in the past, with them not having what I need or being passive in assisting. This was completely different! I don't leave many reviews but this pharmacy was just excellent. Everybody was really nice and very helpful with everything I needed. I was in a rush and looking for things I needed at home and hilda was amazing. She helped me find everything I needed and she did so incredibly fast. I appreciate the great customer service and really recommend this place to everyone. It won't let you down!

I came across this pharmacy after my local one closed. Lorena's pharmacy has everything that you can possibly need. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and fast. They speak Spanish and English and the pharmacy is clean. Hilda was very patient and helped me get my medication without any issue.

This place is a one stop shop. They had exactly what I needed and more. During my short wait of about 15-20 minutes I walked around and found other things I wanted as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of the questions I had. One of the pharmacists, David, took the time to explain my prescription and the side effects that I could anticipate. I will gladly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for reliable, trustworthy neighborhood pharmacy.

Haven't picked up any meds here by I've gone in quite a few times to pick up a few things. I've also called for information. The people there seem nice and patient.
This place is pretty busy so I'm surprised I haven't got a rude person over the phone or seen anything of that sort when I've gone in to purchase items.
Parking can get pretty full and the location is on two busy streets so expect traffic at almost all hours of the day. Busses will make you want to honk your horn until it doesn't honk anymore but the pharmacy staff might make you smile

A community pharmacy with ample parking. This place is always crowded. The pharmacist have always been courteous. Nice clean place, however kind of pricey. No negative comments except for the waiting time to get your prescription filled. If you don't want to wait you have the option to drop it off and pick it up filled at a later time. Not my favorite place to have my meds filled.

This Pharmacy is one of the best I have been too. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. It is very organized and clean.
If you ask anyone that works there for help they will attend you immediately. They have their own parking structure and you will always find a spot.
Sometimes it gets a little packed inside, but I usually don't make any lines to purchase something. You have to wait awhile if you need to fill a prescription, but they have chairs where you can wait.
If you don't want to wait you can either come back or take a walk. There are a lot of restaurants
