We are a non-profit Home for Adults licensed by NY Department of Health serving Chenango County since 1896. This lovely home-like facility offers independence and security for older adults. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood close to downtown Norwich, the Home provides its residents a charming and elegant atmosphere in comfortable surroundings.

Our mission is to provide an exemplary adult residence experience in the community, fostering a balance of independence, security and comfort for those we serve. In 1896 a group of people with vision and a purpose, planned a residence for elderly women in need of comfort and care.
In 1898 the vision became a reality with a donation from Cyrus Martin of one thousand dollars and two building lots at the corner of Canasawacta and Fair streets in Norwich.Other donations from individuals, church groups, and community organizations secured the initial development. For over one hundred years that vision has grown into Chenango County's finest adult home providing residential care for women AND men.

Your Non restricted donation assists in enhancing the services offered to residents as well as maintaining the building and grounds of our facility. We do not accept funds through Medicare or Medicaid. Your generous support assists in providing excellent services in an up to date facility without charging exuberant fees.
