Deanne Nakamura, owner and operator of Precious Maui Weddings, was born and raised on the island of Maui and has arranged thousands of beautiful Maui weddings since 1992. With a deep love and understanding of the island and decades of experience, Deanne lends tremendous value when planning the perfect maui wedding.
We traveled from New York City to Maui for our ceremony/honeymoon and we just knew from our initial conversation with Deanne over the phone, while planning our wedding, how detail oriented she is. Not a single aspect was overlooked and all our requests were met. She truly makes your vision come to life and knows exactly how to handle your concerns gracefully and respectfully.
We couldn't be more happy with choosing Precious Maui Weddings! We chose to do a small destination wedding and wanted to focus most of our attention on our once-in-a-lifetime family trip. My wife and I got married last night. We were suppose to get married in 2020 but COVID shut down that. Precious Maui Weddings was extremely professional and caring throughout the process, working with us and taking a lot of the stress away. If you are looking at a destination wedding, I highly recommend Maui Precious Weddings. 5 stars isn’t a high enough rating. They deserve way more! Thank you again for all the hard work and making the evening enjoyable!!!

Deanne was so amazing! She helped us to navigate what all we needed to do and what to expect in order to get married in Hawaii in a post-Covid world, 100% stress free. She was very professional, responsive, pleasant to interact with, and so accommodating with a last minute request. I had my hair and makeup done through her company, which I was a little nervous about since I was traveling to Hawaii and would not get a practice session to see how I would like the hair/makeup look I chose. Me & my husband got married in Wailea, Maui at Gannon’s and it was a absolute fairytale wedding. I had many extra details and Deanne made my visions all come to life! I had a PINTREST PERFECT wedding. Her recommendations for photographers, officiant, Venues, DJs, videographers were all amazing. Her calm and lovely spirit soothed any anxious bride nerves. She was a absolute pleasure to work with and my wedding exceeded my expectations in every single way. All of my guests (50 total) raved on and on about how beautiful and special my wedding was. My husband and I live in Nashville, and even with the time difference and long distance between us, she still found a way to make our wedding planning smooth and seamless. Deanne helped us coordinate our destination wedding to Maui, on 7-19-18, at Makena Cove. We found her name here on Google and rolled the dice!!! From the moment we selected our Gardenia package, everything went off without a hitch. Every detail planned to a tee, and confirmed via email and phone. I could feel the stress and concern melt away, through each step of the process, as Deanne always kept me informed. Periodically, I would have a detail I'd want adjusted, or a service I would like added, or a question I would have....and she was right there to help make our day perfect!
