Trevor Hayden is a hard-working family man with a passion for hardwood floors. Trevor has worked in the hardwood flooring business since the age of 11. That's when his uncles hired him at age 11 to help out in their new company installing, sanding, and finishing hardwood floors. As such, he knew early on that hardwood floors would be his calling.
He loved being a part of the transformation of old, worn-out floors, and he was fascinated by the processes and products used. After high school, Trevor earned his Construction Technology degree from Hastings College. He was awarded the President's Scholarship and currently serves on the Hastings College advisory board.

I meet Trevor at the Omaha Home Show. I explained that I already had quarter sawn oak on my kitchen floor. I wanted to expand into the Living Room and hallway. I was delighted to know that not only could he splice into the original floor. He sanded the entire floor to be level. Hard job to do because I’m was an Industrial Arts teacher.
He also cut the Granite around my fireplace and fitted the flooring under the cut stone. No one else would do that job.
He took the extra time in choosing the correct stain.
Everyone who come into our home complements on the floor. Happy wife happy life.

We had a great experience with Trevor. He was not pushy or harsh, but asked us for our thoughts and feedback as the project progressed. We were very eager to get our 126 year old hardwood floors replaced + Trevor built us a new subfloor, secured it to the previous woods, and then did a beautiful install of luxury vinyl planks.
After the work was done, Trevor gave us a call to ensure everything was still looking good and answer any maintenance and care questions we had. Highly recommend giving him a chance!

I contacted Trevor for an estimate prior to listing my home for sale. I have hickory hardwood floors and life left it’s mark over time. Trevor was upfront and honest in his recommendations to refurbish my floors. Trevor was flexible and easy to work with in scheduling the work. My first experience with Trevor and Lifetime Hardwood Floors was when I had hardwood flooring installed in my home by another company that was contracted by the home builder. Their work was standard quality and since we did not pay for it directly, I am not in a position to either praise or bash their work. I didnt hold out much hope that they would do anything about my floor concerns since the home builder didnt do squat about a class action suit over their pick for siding, I was less than optimistic they would address the floor issues. I told my wife to find someone where she works to come in

We hired Trevor in Sept 2014 to install Bamboo flooring in an existing home. We provided the flooring. Trevor was responsible for tear out of tile flooring and installing bamboo to match up with existing bamboo flooring.
Initially Trevor did an excellent job, we knew going into the project that this was a big task and were patient with the progress. Initially the progress went great. Then it came to a standstill.
The flooring was installed yet finish work needed completed. We contracted him to cut in vents as well as install base shoe.

I'm very picky about the contractors that I hire. Most of the time I would do it myself before I would hire anyone. I met with Trevor and I was instantly impressed by his honesty and knowledge of hardwoods. He was up front in all aspects of what would and wouldn't work best in our home. Trevor is very detail oriented and has a great work ethic. Based on my experience with Lifetime Hardwood Floors, I think that if you demand perfection, Trevor is your guy!
