At Englunds Funeral Service & Chapel, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.

We have a wide range of resources to support you not only today, but in the weeks and months to come. We can create a customized, online memorial for you to share with family and friends. The memorial includes the obituary and any photographs you wish to provide. It will serve as a place for visitors to post condolences, share memories, upload photos, and light candles in honor of your loved one.
Services
When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service. He was baptized at St. She attended Slaton Schools. Donita enjoyed serving her church by playing the piano and teaching Sunday. No viewing or visitation. Interment will follow in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. He was a New York Giants. Funeral Services will be at 10:00.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

The staff at Englunds was great. My Thanks to David, Robert Glen, and Patricia for treating us like family, and taking such good care of my Dad, and my Mom back in 2016.

We were treated with so little respect at this vulnerable time. Starting with the casket we picked and paid for being switched to a cheaper one and then arguing with us when we complained. Be prepared to contact your insurance company, pastor, and social security office because they do not do that. Obituary was not done until the afternoon before viewing even though the information was given the morning of the day before. At the service, boutonnieres were not given to bearers, they argued about displaying a picture at the service, no tent provided with wind chills in low 30s, problem with the music

I couldn't imagine having my father's funeral at another funeral home. Everyone I meet that works at Englund's was so nice and helpful. They helped us truly honor our father after a tragic loss while showing empathy and care for everyone. Tye and Regina, and Robert Englund really went out of their way to help us make this tragic loss a joyful celebration of life. If you are looking for a place with people that care for your deceased loved one and family mourning their loss this is the place to be.
