Dr Dwaine M. Everett has obtained the postgraduate designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician(CCSP) by the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians(ACBSP). The CCSP certification requires the doctor to attend a minimum of 120 hours in this post graduate program. This instruction is specific to physical fitness and the evaluation and treatment of injuries encountered in sports.
Following the completion of these hours, the doctor must then take and successfully pass a comprehensive written examination. The design of the examination is similar to the National Board format. This training will aid the doctor in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries by enhancing his diagnostic skills and patient care.

Did you know that chiropractic dates back to the time of Hippocrates? He believed that if the spine was misaligned, it greatly contributed to the health of an individual. The modern day school of chiropractic dates back to 1895, when Dr. Daniel Palmer adjusted a man that had lost his hearing 17 years prior.
Going to the Chiropractor is a new experience for many of us. Maybe we've heard through a friend or have done some research online. It's possible that you are just fed up with living in pain and it's time to do something about it. In either case, your first visit to the chiropractor will really be about getting to know the chiropractor and discussing your history, current condition and goals.
Adjustments, or manipulation as they're sometimes referred to, are the minor movement of vertebrae in the spine. The objective of this movement is to realign vertebrae that have moved out of place for a number of reasons ranging from normal daily activity to trauma such as a car accident. When these vertebrae are out of place, it has an overall systemic effect from muscular to the central nervous system.
Chiropractic massage is an excellent method for improving overall health and musculoskeletal efficiency. Massage has a number of beneficial effects on the body and the mind. Some of these include removal of toxins that can build up in the muscles of the body, increased circulation, and increased flexibility in not only the muscles, but also the connective tissue within the body.

Two days, two adjustments. That's all it took for me to return to work and be able to turn my head without excruciating pain. I'll be coming back for regular adjustments from now on. Staff and doctor were very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much! I'll recommend Dr. Everett to anyone that needs help.

In a few short weeks, Dr Everett has me straightened out, working together we agreed on a plan to help with muscle pain, immobility, and pain management, drug free of course!! I specially recommend the dry needling for what ails ya! This is by far the best chiropractic service I have had in recent years. Doc can even help with orthopedic shoe inserts! If you have any questions the staff is always cheerful and willing to help! 5 outta 5 IMHO
