Levon & Hasmig Tavlian Preschool & Kindergarten
L&H Tavlian Preschool's Curriculum is based on Developmentally Appropriate Practices with a thematic focus. By creating different levels, the program enables teachers to adjust the curriculum to meet the developmental needs of the child. Our teachers and teacher assistants are experienced and have exceeded the Early Childhood Education state requirements.

To enroll your child at Tavlian, you must place your child's name on a waiting list. The registration waiting list starts in the month of June for admission to the next school year. Placement on the waiting list is valid for one year.
Services
Our Preschool and Kindergarten is affiliated with St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church of Pasadena, related to the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The school is operated under the instructions of the Board of Regents of all the Western Prelacy Armenian schools.

At Levon & Hasmig Tavlian Preschool and Kindergarten, the mission of the teaching staff and administration is to provide a high quality early childhood education program by following these ethical codes.Ensure that the program is based on current knowledge of child development and early childhood education.
Registration for returning students starts in the month of March for admission to the next school year. After the registration of returning students, the administration will call for new students that are on the waiting list. To enroll your child at Tavlian, you must contact the school and place your child's name on the school's waiting list.
Physical or verbal abuse will not be allowed at St. Sarkis Levon & Hasmig Tavlian Preschool. No child will be denied food, rest, or bathroom use as a consequence of inappropriate behavior. We as that parents respect our discipline policy while in the school so that no child will be subjected to negative, punishing forms of discipline while at Levon & Hasmig Tavlian Preschool.
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) can help parents feel good about the child care, preschool, and kindergarten programs they choose. More than 30 years ago, NAEYC created an accreditation system to improve the quality of education and care provided in programs for young children.
