Dr. Kristal Henry is excited to be back home where she can be a positive force to educate and empower her patients to live their best life through family-based chiropractic care. We aim to educate our patients about Chiropractic and other natural solutions to common health problems in order to motivate you to take a more active and responsible role in restoring and maintaining your own health as well as the people around you.
Chiropractic care is more than just making the pain disappear. It is about learning, understanding and taking care of your body to improve your quality of life. As chiropractors, we understand that although our patients may be diagnosed with the same condition, they respond very differently to treatments.

Did you know that chiropractic dates back to the time of Hippocrates? He believed that if the spine was misaligned, it greatly contributed to the health of an individual. The modern day school of chiropractic dates back to 1895, when Dr. Daniel Palmer adjusted a man that had lost his hearing 17 years prior.
Dr. James Cranford, Jr. attended Life College in Marietta, Georgia where he received his B.S. in nutrition and in 1995 graduated with his doctorate in Chiropractic. He took a position at Tri- State Chiropractic located in Rossville, Ga before opening Chowan Chiropractic in his home town of Edenton, N.C. in 1999.
Tara Clark has been with our office for 9 years. She is our front desk coordinator and certified as a Chiropractic Assistant by the North Carolina Board of Chiropractic examiners. Tara is always there to greet our patients with a smile and a friendly hello. She and her husband Ron have been married for 35 years.
Going to the Chiropractor is a new experience for many of us. Maybe we've heard through a friend or have done some research online. It's possible that you are just fed up with living in pain and it's time to do something about it. In either case, your first visit to the chiropractor will really be about getting to know the chiropractor and discussing your history, current condition and goals.
