Polly was raised in Indiana and has lived in Colorado, Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Massachusetts, New Zealand and Russia. She now calls Whitefish, Montana home. Whether you are having the wedding of the century or an intimate elopement with the love of your life, we have you covered. First and foremost, I am crazy in love with my family. Mountain Life Photography is truly a family business run by me, my partner Artie and our newest and youngest photographer, our son Bodhi.
Our portrait sessions begin at $850. This includes the sitting fee, 30 images retouched in color and black and white received via dropbox. We also upload all of your images to our web site where you can download as well as share with friends and family or on social media. In order to capture your true self, we would like to get to know you before the shoot- whether in person over a cup of coffee or via a phone call.
A little bit about my senior portrait style: I am all about incorporating your ideas, style and personality into your session. After all, it is about YOU! I specialize in utilizing the amazing backdrops Flathead Valley has to offer. I am an outdoor enthusiast and an adventure junkie and love to include any adventure into your session.

We had the most incredible photo session with our outstanding photographer, Polly! She was so amazing with the kids and knew exactly what to do to get the perfect photo! We have done many family photos in the past and this by far was the most Incredible!! Polly was patient, kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and loved our photos!! I would highly recommend their service and next time we are in Whitefish we are definitely going to do another photo shoot with Mountain Life Photography!!

My Daughter set up a photography session with Polly prior to our trip to Montana. We received our edited pics we chose, plus a few extra that were Pollys favorites. First let me say Polly is so easy to work with, she took exceptional pictures in just the right spots. She made it fun to have your picture taken. I love all the pics, sadly I had to choose a certain few. But they are fantastic pictures. I decided to surprise my with with a photo shoot for our family trip to Glacier and Whitefish. After a quick google search I found Mountain Life Photography. Polly was awesome from the start. We have had family pictures taken every year, nothing compared to this. Polly found the best spots, was literally running through the lake to get the best shot and kept our three girls entertained the entire time. If you are in Whitefish looking for a photographer, look no further. We loved Whitefish and will be back…we may even come back just for another session with Polly.

Polly with Mountain Life Photography was wonderful to work with! We had a group of two families and she was very patient in taking all of the variety of shots we wanted to get with all of the family/individual combinations. Polly took us to some really great sites for our photos and we have some really wonderful photos despite the smoke/cloud cover the day of our shoot. My husband and I flew to Montana (from Georgia) to have our wedding pictures taken in Glacier National Park. This was our first trip out west and we were unfamiliar with the park or area. Starting with our first email to Polly she was amazing. She was very knowledgable about the area, where we should take pictures, what time we should arrive, etc. She answered all of our million questions and she was happy to do so. She is such a genuine person, its like we were old friends meeting up to take pictures. She even offered to drive us through the park so we could ride, relax and enjoy the scenery.

I cannot say THANK YOU enough to Polly for taking such beautiful photos of my family (all 14 of us). Polly was communicative, kind, professional, and of course captured great photos (with that many people, from our experience, it can be a challenge, but Polly did it). She took extra time on the kid’s individual photos and really seemed to enjoy the time which was appreciated. I highly recommend Polly.

We had the BEST experience with Polly and Mountain Life Photography! Due to Covid, we cancelled our trip & photo session in 2020, but we stayed in touch and were were able to reschedule for summer 2021. We were lucky enough to meet Polly in advance when zip lining at Whitefish Mountain Resort a few days before our session. We loved the photos her staff took at Whitefish while zip lining and Alpine sliding - we bought them all! Polly did our family pics a few days later and was so awesome to work with. She kept us informed of the schedule, had fantastic locations picked out at Glacier National Park

OK, everyone I can't tell you how happy we were with Polly and our entire experience with Mountain Life Photography! The pictures turned out amazing and Polly was great. She has such a fun personality and put all of us at ease, which was not how we were feeling when we first arrived....crying toddler, grumpy kiddos, etc. Polly is a true professional with loads of talent. Polly is a joy to work with and I love her photos! From our initial contact through the proofs being emailed for our final selection everything has been GREAT! We had a group of 14, in 4-extended family units. The photo locations were beautiful and exactly what I expected from looking at the website. My extended family traveled from all over the US for a vacation together at Glacier National Park and coordinating and planning the photo session with Polly was great. We had everything taken from individual shots, to immediate families, couples, grandparents, grandkids and the entire extended family
