Life is meant to be joyful, but many times we face challenges that keep us from feeling that joy. Many times we can't quite put our finger on what is working or not working in our life, and this can leave us feeling even more frustrated. At An Embraced Life, we offer professional counseling services.
Our mission is to help individuals, couples, and families navigate through the obstacles in life, and find their joy. My name is Leslie Thomas, M.S, LPC. My name is Leslie Thomas, M.S, LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over seven years of experience working in the mental health field. The counseling relationship is crucial to the counseling process being successful. In 2004, I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with my Master's Degree in Community Counseling.
The hardest challenge is to be yourself in a world where everyone is trying to make you be somebody else. My practices focuses specifically on working with individuals, couples, parents, and other relationship dynamics. I utilize a variety of techniques based on the needs of the client, but specifically focus on helping clients accept where they are in life, clairify their values and priorities, and begin taking action.
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the ability to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. You already have some strengths that you've used before, that for whatever reason isn't working right now. Perhaps this problem feels overwhelming and is making it difficult to access your past strengths.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?.

The best therapist I have ever had. I've been to a lot of therapists over the years - and each have served their purpose, but out of all of them - I feel like my growth with Leslie has been the easiest and most rewarding. She's candid, understanding, completely non-judgmental, remembers what seems like little details but makes you feel listened to and cared about. Literally the best ever. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
