The daughter of a Texas champion cake decorator and a gifted mixed-media artist, Jessica Starnes felt a connection to the arts from an early age. After years of trial - and a lot of error - in everything from fiber arts to painting, she finally discovered a passion and talent for jewelry making about a decade ago.
Since it's not feasible for me to have all of the designs on the website in stock at all times, most items are not pre-made. When you order a made-to-order piece, I add the style you requested to my production queue and will ship your piece to you in approximately 7-10 days. Special edition pieces are limited edition or one-of-a-kind styles that are already made.

Jstar is amazing. I currently own seven of her necklaces and I've probably bought as many pieces for gifts. She's super easy to work with on commissions or personalized pieces too and she truly wants to help people create the look they're going for. Her jewelry is versatile and so easy to wear. Her studio is seriously like a candy store and it's hard to walk out without buying something sweet and beautiful.

J*Star is uniquely talented with her exquisite and playful designs!! I purchased the Ascent bracelet at the Pike’s Peak Ascent last year. I was intrigued with the design of the bracelet which was designed specifically for the race including the elevation of Pike’s Peak! Sadly, I accidentally broke it while taking a patients blood pressure during work (no fault of the bracelet - but only due to my carelessness reaching in and out of my bag).
