My husband, Greg, and I have been married for 13 years. He is a pharmacist at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital. We have two children. They are involved in many activities, including basketball, art lessons, competitive dance, and soccer. Effingham County has been my home for almost my entire life.
I graduated from Teutopolis High School, where I played basketball for the Lady Wooden Shoes. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University, where I received my BA in English in 2005 and MA in English in 2011. I was an English teacher at Effingham High school for over 10 years, before I transitioned into the Agency Recruiting Department of State Farm's home offices.
