Evangeline Home Health Agency, Inc. was founded by the Evangeline Parish Council on Aging in 1972 as a 501c (3), private, not-for-profit agency. The agency was established to meet the unmet needs of the rural parish and provide "Home Health Aid, Nutrition, Facilitation of Heath, Adult Education, and Transportation".
Patients with vision impairment causing problems with daily living or causing safety issues especially frequent falls.
Your care may be comprised of many services and is designed to specifically address the needs of your illness with the help of a variety of professionals when needed including Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses, Nurse's Aides, Physical or Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Medical Social Workers, and Nutritional/ Dietary Services.

We are a local provider that genuinely cares for those we serve. But we are a professional health organization too, working closely with physicians, nurses and all health care providers to ensure we provide the best service possible. Over our 40+ years we have been the provider of choice for over 1000 physicians and over 25,000 patients of all ages and needs.
I would have to say that home care is a natural part of my life. As a young girl, I often sat in my mother's office at Evangeline Home Health where she was a nurse and watched as everyone busily worked. I grew up listening to stories of the elderly and enjoyed frequent visits to the Eunice nursing home located only one block from my home.
