Services
Dover Dental Associates is devoted to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of your smile using conservative, state-of-the-art procedures that will result in beautiful, long lasting smiles! A standard of excellence in personalized dental care enables us to provide the quality dental services our patients deserve.
When you visit our office, your smile is our top priority. Our entire team is dedicated to providing you with the personalized, gentle care that you deserve. Part of our commitment to serving our patients includes providing information that helps them to make more informed decisions about their oral health needs.
A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.
Dental radiographs (x-rays) are essential, preventative, diagnostic tools that provide valuable information not visible during a regular dental exam. Dentists and dental hygienists use this information to safely and accurately detect hidden dental abnormalities and complete an accurate treatment plan.

I have been a patient here since I was old enough to get my teeth cleaned and the staff has always been so incredible and kind! The work they do is fantastic and they are always super considerate. It's not easy to make someone feel comfortable in a dentist's chair but these guys are the best at it!

Just have to start by saying they folks at Dover Dental are absolutely fantastic!
While I wasn't there for myself (but will be moving there after this), I was helping somebody who is usually terrified of dentists. I explained that when setting up the appointment, and they really took that into consideration, and really helped her through it. Not sure anybody can say a dentist visit is "enjoyable", but this was a great experience!

I have been a happy patient of Dr. Dumas for many years. I appreciate that Dr. Dumas takes his time, doesn't rush through explanations, and presents different options. I also appreciate that he is aware of my nervousness and has the calming gas available for procedures if needed.
If you have had any prior bad dental experiences, or experienced pain during a dental procedure (even while most of your mouth is numb) I highly recommend switching to Dr. Dumas at Dover Dental. His office is over an hour away from my home and I make the drive because he and his staff are worth it. The technicians and

I'm not a fan of leaving negative reviews, even if I feel they are warranted, but my experience at Dover Dental has been by far the worst dental experience of my 30 years.
Rather than laying out my minute by minute experience I will break down all that was wrong with my time here.
-Full Mouth x-rays left multiple cuts in the roof of my mouth and was extraordinarily uncomfortable. Like nothing I've ever had prior.
-Was given little to no information about the state of my mouth or teeth after the first consultation. Still have no idea what work I need done.
-Second appointment went in for 1 filling

Love them, you'll never meet a sweeter group of people who clean, drill, and patch up your jaw bone protrusions. Shackled to the table (for their protection) under the soft glow of nicely lit halogen, wretched wails echo between the humbly decorated walls among pictures of happy adventure and loving family. Somewhere under the screaming and notes of peppermint candles, the gentle sounds of music embrace the patient guests as they happily await their turn. The kind doctor, who is now drenched in sweat from his struggles with the kicking and flailing, cleans up his tear soaked patient and coos warm

Dover Dental has been FANTASTIC since I made the initial call to them! I didn't have to guess any costs because the office ladies provided me with the amount to expect (to the penny!) - before the appointment. My daughter and I were able to be seen as new patients within a week or two of calling them. They even took into consideration scheduling us at the same time or back to back, in an effort to help ME...no other dentist office that I've been to has ever extended their customer service like Dover Dental has. They truly think of everything - even down to COVID-19 phone screenings and reminding

It's been a long time since I've had a dental appointment. Today, I went in and it was so clean and inviting from the start. Dani lead the way and was very friendly and explained the process in a way I could understand. She was very down to earth and helped me feel less up tight about the situation. Dr. Ward was just the same. Informative, concise, and real. In most cases I get uncomfortable but here I felt confident. For them, its quality over quantity. I couldn't have picked a better dental team to go to.

Great establishment, doctors, and staff! Have been going to Dr. Dumas for many years, and moved to Dover Dental after he moved there. Him and Dr. Balzano have always been very thorough and always do a great job of explaining any issue that I run into. On several occasions, I have come into see them because of a possible bad/cracked/sensitive tooth issue and they've always been able to fit me in on very short notice, and if no nothing needed to really be done, they waived the charges for the visits. They truly care about the well being of their patients!

People only seem to take the time to write reviews when they're bad. I can honestly say that dover dental gets 5 stars. I have been a patient here for over 12 years and also take all 5 of my children here. They are honest about the amount of work needed and dont try to tell you that you need work done that you don't. ( yes some dentists do this). Dr.balzano is funny with a great sense of humor and his staff is wonderful. He is one of the best dentists I have ever been too.
I think the previous reviewer went to a different dentist. The office is not messy and is probably one of the most

In response to this reply by "Helen" she says they would never charge that much for a filling...that was my impression when i asked why it was so much for a small filling, thearms raised up and the shoulders and i was given the look like what can i say!
as i reportted two other dentists confirmed i had NO cavities let alone one that need 650 bux woth of anything...they may very well sterilize equipment ect.. but the room was messy the back door enters right into the room and the workers walk right past while the cleaning is being done, not to mention one came in coughing and hacking
