I just love these people!! They are so welcoming and knowledgeable. I most recently had Shane's help picking out an addition to my ring stack. He's honest about his opinion and isn't just all about the price tags. Their repair and detailing services are top notch but affordable. I won't go anywhere else!

Alex and his team are top notch! I purchased a watch from Alex four years ago haven’t gone anywhere else sense. Last week, I bought my dream watch from Alex. I have been searching and talking to folks all over the country as it was very rare & nearly impossible to find. Then I stop into Alexanders and of course he was able to track it down!
They know their stuff, focus on building long term relationships & are fair. Every encounter I have had has been first class, which usually starts with a good conversation with Shane and moving to Alex to see some watches. They really make you feel right

I am not one that typically writes reviews. But the service I received from Alexander Jewelers was beyond outstanding as was the watch I bought. First the watch was priced incorrectly on their website and they honored the incorrect much lower price. Second the watch didn't fit so they paid for overnight shipping back to them. Then they split the cost of the 4 links I needed, which they didn't have to do. Then they overnighted the watch back to me. I will only buy from them going forward. They are my Jeweler and they are in Ohio and I am in New Jersey. BRAVO Well DONE!

Literally have always had the best experience coming here for our engagement rings and wedding bands! Gabby and Shane were amazing to work with and go above and beyond. Could not recommend this place more to anyone! Love it!

Amazing and friendly from the minute I walked through the door. Shane was very friendly & knowledgeable. Alexander took care of my watch … I’m not from Columbus so I didn’t have much time before they closed. I arrived just before 2 pm and they had my watch ready by 3:30pm. Alex was a and always is a delight to work with. His knowledge and experience within fine jewelry is easily noticeable and he takes the time to explain which set would be most appealing to me and what I was looking for. If you are ever in need of finding a specific piece of jewelry Alex is your go to guy. I will absolutely be back and I will absolutely be asking to work with him again. We had a phenomenal experience. We worked with Shane who was excellent. He was attentive, patient, super knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. I can't tell you how many times I've stopped in and gawked in awe at all the beautiful jewelry throughout the store. Shane, the manager, is a fellow Bobcat (Ohio University alum), and he has always welcomed me into the store even though I'd never made or even sniffed close to a purchase. Well, shockingly tonight was the big night that I stopped in and actually made a huge splurge....and man did it feel and look good!!!! I said yes to a beautiful pair of earrings, and I can't stop looking at them. I couldn't thank Shane enough for suggesting the pair of gorgeous earrings

The initial customer service my husband and I received while purchasing jewelry was great, however all the follow-up service since for maintenance has been consistently poor. I've taken my engagement/wedding ring in for service for 6 years now and I've had issues nearly every time.
1. Everything seems to take excessively long. Having my ring cleaned and the prongs checked most recently took roughly two weeks.
2. Dipping white gold in rhodium is a standard method of improving the appearance of white gold, but they didn't cover my yellow gold setting prior so when I received my ring

Just stopped in for a new leather band for a Hamilton and a wonky bracelet on my Tag. They fixed the Tag bracelet in minutes, I got a great new band for the Hamilton, all for a great price, and the staff was very helpful.

Also: they had a great selection of Panerai (as will as Omega, Breitling, etc) at what looked like great prices. I'm not in the market for one now, but when I am this will be my first stop.

Went here to get my wedding & engagement ring rhodium plated. They did it in literally 5 minutes- and it was less than I've payed anywhere else for the same service. Very friendly, I was blown away by the service. Would go back again and again!


Update: going on two years later, my rings still look awesome and I haven't needed them to be re-dipped. This place is amazing!

These are absolutely great people and they KNOW jewelry. I was surprised that they were pretty familiar with not only all of the diamond necklaces and rings and such, but now they have me thinking about a new watch. Great people for sure

My wife and I were visiting Columbus for a concert this summer. We came upon Alexander Jewelers after a nearby lunch. As it was close to our 25th anniversary we were looking for a ring to celebrate the occasion. Alex could not have been more helpful in assisting us in finding a beautiful diamond ring. I came in today to check out their selection of watches. I like a really nice watch that has a rectangular face and only four numbers on the dial. I don't purchase fashion watches (made by popular designers) because I wear watches for function first and foremost. I did have one beautiful watch that I tried and it was perfect. Have been a customer for quite a while and thought I should finally write a review. The staff is friendly, professional and seem to actually care about their customers. Incredible selection and best prices in the city that I've seen. Everyone is great there I usually work with Shane or Alex.

That is complete BS Alex. I did not raise me voice nor did I become agitated. If anything, I was in awe at how rude and discourteous your employee was. The response you posted here is in stark contrast to this direct message you sent me:

Alexander's is just OK to me.

We were in the Short North and my fella happened to tell me that his watch battery was dead, so in we went.
We were told that it would be 15 minutes, so we waited.
After about 20 minutes, the woman told us to "come back before 8."

We went back about 2 hours later and waited....and waited.
I guess only the "watch guy" can give you your watch with a fresh battery.

It was quality work, just a little silly with their processes.

So pleased with the service here & even got brownie points with the in-laws! :)

My mother-in-law had an antique pendant that other jewelry shops didn't seem to want to try to fix. I had heard excellent things of Alexanders & thought we'd give one more jewelry shop a try to repair this old pendant. Lee was amazing! So friendly & confident it wouldn't be a problem to repair. I recently bought a large turquoise and silver ring off a boutique on the west coast and was upset when I found out the ring was actually exceedingly smaller than the description of what I had paid for.
