In 2006, Anicia had a vision to have her own salon. She and an art-loving friend decided to create a studio, infusing art from local artist as well as her own artistic creations with hair and beauty. Faux Real Art and Design was born. In 2007, the art director was called to move out of town, and Anicia was graced by another talented stylist, Lisa, which made Faux Real Hair Design Studio come to life.
Every client is unique in their own way and so should their haircuts and styles. With Men, Women, and Children, we take pride in individualizing each client to suit their greatest looks. No cookie cutters here! Trim your facial hair, even out your beard hair length with the trimmer. Trimming hairs before shaving can help reduce tug and pull while shaving, and this can help prevent clogged blades.

Anicia has been cutting my hair for several years now! I wouldn’t even think of using another hair dresser/stylist anywhere else! This business was clean and spotless BEFORE this virus hit and will always be as long as the current owners are running it! I would recommend these ladies to anyone!

Everything was sanitized and staff cleaned between every client. The staff did a great job w distancing set up for check-in, hair wash station and in between clients. I love my Faux Real friends and proud of how they've handled this to serve their community!!

Lisa and le'ana keep the place very clean and sanitized. I have gone to Lisa for years and she is the best. Stacy does an amazing eyebrow wax and a great cut for my husband.Lisa always greets anyone who enters so it makes it a very welcome feeling as you walk in. Prices are good and well worth the service you get.

I began going to Faux Real Hair design spring of 2017. I have been 100% satisfied with the service; I get perms and cuts. I recently got a perm, post Covid; the precautions were very good and I felt safe and the service was still top notch. Recommend this to anyone looking for quality hair stylists.

This salon is a compilation of various stylists and their personalities. The spaces for each of the hair dressers are large enough to practice social distancing and to provide some privacy, but because of the excess space the hair dressers have to raise their voices. The large space, provides little decor that brings the salon all together, so it lacks the glamor that many other salons have.
All in all, the salon is clean, the stylists are licensed and work hard to be sure you are happy with your experience.

well with the shops just opening back up, I was able to get an appointment pretty quick , and Heather as well as the whole shop were on top of the whole social distancing and made you feel comfortable. Also, went back a second time since and very clean and the stylist are very friendly!! Great atmosphere after re-opening!!!

I was referred and went there yesterday as a walk in with my daughter. We were greeted the moment we walked in the door! The atmosphere was fabulous and it did not smell like a bunch of chemicals as do your typical salons. The lady we were referred to was not in but they found someone right off the bat to go ahead and help us. I was offered a cup of coffee while I waited and was seated right next to the station where my daughter was getting her hair cut on a very comfortable couch. The girl who cut my daughters hair was new and my daughter was her first cut in this salon and that made me a bit
