We are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service. We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own pet, by giving them the same love, attention, and care.
Ever since I can remember, I wanted to be a veterinarian. My parents still have school papers that list veterinarian as what I wanted to be when I grew up, although I doubt I even knew how to spell veterinarian at the time! As a little girl, we had an assortment of animals including geese, turkeys, dogs, cats, cattle, and rabbits.
Growing up on a small farm in southeast Bartlesville is how I started working with pets and livestock. My family always had a menagerie of animals; horses, donkeys, cows, pigs, goats, dogs and cats, but we were best known in the area for my grandmother's dog and cat boarding kennel, and the Percheron Draft horses that my grandfather raised and showed.
At Arrowhead Veterinary Clinic, we feel that communication and education are the cornerstones of providing a valuable pet healthcare experience. We will listen to your pet healthcare goals and partner with you to formulate a healthcare plan that focuses on you and your pet's specific needs. I brought my cat into the vet as of yesterday. even though I had to do curb side service because of covid! everything was great and everyone was professional! I highly recommend this vet to anyone. Dr. Haxton and her staff were above and beyond! explained every step and process thoroughly. Staff even texted me the next day to check on my animal. Couldn't be happier!
