Gallaher Landscaping was formed in 2000 by Joshua M. Gallaher. The company grew from a teenage entrepreneur earning money for college and began with a push mower, weed trimmer, gas blower, and a 1991 pick-up truck. In 2008, Josh graduated from Penn State University Park with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Marketing from the Smeal College of Business.
Upon graduation Josh still maintained his part time lawn and landscape business, while working full time for the Deeter Gallaher Group in Mechanicsburg, PA as a Marketing Strategist. In 2009, Josh launched Gallaher Landscaping as a full-time operating business, right in the middle of the worst recession in recent history.

Josh Gallaher, owner of Gallaher Landscaping, his wife Mallary, and their three children reside in New Cumberland. Life-long residents of the West Shore School District, they returned home after graduating from Penn State University to launch Gallaher Landscaping LLC. An Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 54 in Camp Hill, Penna., Josh earned the prestigious Scouting honor in 2003.
