Vetiver is a perennial grass native to India. It has become very popular over the years because of its medicinal uses and pleasant, earthy aroma. Vetiver is extremely grounding. It creates balance in your body with a nourishing quality. And although vetiver has a strong ability to ground, it also uplifts spirits.
We like to make you feel at ease. Getting acupuncture for your first time can be nerve racking which is why Brooke created a space that is calming and nurturing where you can escape your day. Jen is phenomenal, stellar, a blessing in this space. I've received acupuncture at several locations in the US and Australia and by far Jen is the most skilled, talented, knowledgeable practitioner I've seen. Jen has a caring nature and a holistic understanding of the practice, as such the positive effects of acupuncture are felt within 1 or 2 sessions (pending on treatment area). Highly recommended.

Brooke is awesome, and I love the whole experience she has curated for her sessions. They're so incredibly comprehensive between the NAET, needling, cupping, essential oils, sound therapy, and moxa! I feel so very pampered every time I go, and come out super relaxed. The NAET is also really helping with my allergies and sensitivities. I highly recommend Brooke and her associates at Vetiver.

I don't remember exactly how I heard about Brooke and Vetiver but I'm sure glad that I did. I drive from North Portland to Sellwood because Brooke has helped my body in so many ways. The first time I went was my first ever acupuncture experience, I didn't know what to expect. But since that first treatment, I seek Vetiver when I need to feel re-aligned from the stress that comes with my job. This is such a healing space that as my daughter even noticed "smells alive and fresh". Jennifer is a profoundly gifted acupuncturist. She creates a magical space for relaxation, support and healing. her treatments encompass so many wonderful things including essential oils! I think it is quite the gem in Sellwood. I have been going to Vetiver Acupuncture for almost two months now, starting at once a week for six weeks. Jennifer is a true healer who makes your concerns feel genuinely heard and wants to help your body make improvements.
