The first time Julie met me I was in a medical coma. She advocated aggressively for my best interests while I remained unconscious for several months. Truth is -- she saved my life. God bless her. I was scared to divorce my husband but I had to do what's best for my children. Dorsett Law understood the pressures and stresses of getting free.

They prepared me for the steps ahead, addressed each of my relationship concerns and always served my best interests. I am a new woman grateful that my children and I are safe. I don't know how I got so lucky to have you in my corner, but I believe God led me to you. It's been a trying year and I can never repay you for your kindness and professional advice.

Adoption is the assumption of legal rights and duties of a parent by an adult--often a step-parent but not always--of a child, or in rarer cases, another adult. Adoption of a minor child requires termination of the child's birth parent's (or parents') parental rights by a court, after notice and a hearing, unless the parent has predeceased the child.
Bankruptcy is a legal process by which an individual or other entity obtains relief from creditors' actions (such as foreclosure and repossession) and debt (including judgments). Relief can be a complete discharge of all of the individual's (or married couple's) liability to pay debt or a reduction of the debtor's (or debtors') debt load to some extent.
Because no attorney can represent both parties in a divorce, you should hire an attorney to exclusively represent your unique interest. Whether your situation is as simple as only wanting the marital relationship dissolved or as complex as dividing property accumulated over decades of marriage, hiring an experienced and reputable divorce attorney is well worth the costs involved.
The office's functions are intended to be "consumer friendly" to allow most individuals to seek the court's assistance with support matters without the need to hire an attorney.

Unless you are experienced in dealing with Domestic Relations and the conferences it holds to determine support matters, it is advisable to seek the advice of an experienced support attorney prior to filing any paperwork at Domestic Relations or appearing for a conference.Support matters, like most legal matters, are not always as straightforward as they may seem.
Elder Law comprises a cluster of legal and financial matters facing older individuals by virtue of their age.

Some of the issues of particular interest to retirement age folks include: Estate planning, asset protection, powers of attorney, healthcare powers of attorney, living wills, guardianship, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security benefits, special needs trusts, nursing home admission or other long-term care, federal estate and state inheritance taxation.

She will rip you off now and ask questions later. She'll also not tell you specific details until it's too late and she's used all of your retainer up. Then suddenly her story changes.

I was asked to give a review before my case was finished and while the receptionist was standing over me so I gave a decent one. I should have refused. Don't waste a load of money here. It took 5 years to get a divorce because she kept having excuses, blaming my husband for not responding. She was making no effort to contact him. Go to Barb Townsend.

I don’t even know where to begin with this woman. My husband and I had gotten out of the military and wanted to start over while raising our family. She charged us $1850 to do a chapter 7 bankruptcy. It took us 11 months to save up for it and she wouldn’t take installment payments. When we got in to sign the paperwork she starts yelling at my husband with my children there. Asking him why he would have got a better paying job now we would have to file a different chapter and it would cost more money. I was in tears as she was fine with my husband working we still qualified for the chapter 7

The quickest $200 consultation I ever lost!😲 The receptionist was very calm and reassuring to set you up for the slaughter! Dorsett had no beneficial answers to give to help my case. I wouldn't recommend her unless you want to lose everything! Save your money!

What a joke!!!
They tell you what you want to hear during the consultation and in court they role over and want to agree to something before it even starts. Also, we paid for 2 days of hearings in a custody case and came to an agreement the first day.... Still ended up getting billed for $600 on top of the $5000 we already paid! Way over priced for not having any balls in the court room! They wanted original paper work we had for exhibits because they said they needed them in court.... They never took the originals to court but kept them for ransom till the extra bill is paid. Save your money
