I was charged with 8 student conduct violations at South Dakota State University. The were serious enough incidents to where I probably could've been suspended or expelled from school. I hired Ryan Kolbeck and he got the issue resolved better then I initially expected. I received a slap on the wrist. Ryan is intelligent and knew exactly how to attack the situation in a way that substantially decreased the punishment that I received.

Ryan helped me obtain a pardon for crimes I committed when I was a young 19 year old man. 16 years after the conviction I was pardoned, and I am now a full citizen with the right to vote and own a firearm. I have no crimes on my record at all. Ryan went above and beyond to show the board my contrition, and that this pardon was necessary (for a host of reasons). Ryan and his team took on a criminal case of ours after a former client of ours lied to the police about us and tried to have me arrested without informing me about their intentions. Granted I had accepted a deposit for the work we were going to do for them but had another customer give us a bad check for the job we did for them putting me in a bind. After talking with Ryan he decided to take on our case immediately. I must say that he made me comfortable on the first visit and let me know what he could do for me right from the start and that is exactly what he did from start to finish. We ended
