The mission of the PIC is to be the leading representative for the plumbing industry. We accomplish this by providing unquestionable leadership in labor relations, education, political and regulatory action and industry promotion. Established in 1967, the Plumbing Industry Council addresses member issues of concern including labor relations, business practices legislation, code and regulatory issues, industry standards, requirements and regulations affecting the plumbing industry, job site safety.

2 PEU's, St. Louis County and City of St. Louis The focus here is to get the manager to recognize that his/her construction subcontract is a powerful tool that the manager must use to negotiate and execute the construction plan. Part of the Jobsite planning is the Jobsite or Pre-task Analysis. Its purpose is an open discussion on the work activities for the day, the risks associated with the work, how the risks will be mitigated, and then documenting it via the JSA. The JSA identifies inspection, emergency contact information, and the site-specific rescue plan.
