Her retirement was the culmination of an ownership and leadership transition plan that Judy started in 1993, with the goal of providing other Nitsch Engineering team members with opportunities to grow and lead. Judy began her career in 1975 as a project engineer at Schofield Brothers, where she was quickly promoted to a branch office manager for Freeman Engineering Company (a Division of Schofield Brothers).
The best part of my job is getting to work with an amazing group of people every day who continually inspire me, being able to help them develop, and providing opportunities for them to continue their professional growth. I am proud to be able to continue Nitsch Engineering's legacy of providing ownership to key employees.
As a highly self-motivated individual, Deirdra has always been drawn to a work environment with other highly self-motivated people. She ultimately pursued a career in consulting for this reason, and now has more than 30 years of experience providing corporate leadership and business finance expertise within the A/E/C industry.
