Review for Jerry Jackness, Craftsman Construction
Jerry was the contractor for our custom home located on the side of a mountain in rural Virginia. There were many unusual aspects to our proposed work:
1. Our construction location was 3 ½ hours away from where we lived, so we needed someone who would keep us informed and whom we could absolutely trust.
2. Construction Challenges: building area was cleared but steepness and septic location were problematic. There was not much space for staging of materials. The access to the house was a very long and steep gravel driveway.
3. We were looking

Craftsman Construction built our custom home in 2006. I cannot say enough about Jerry's attention to detail and quality. Our main objectives were to build an energy efficient home, and have it architecturally fit into the historical ambiance of the village.
Craftsman Construction exceeded our expectations and built us a house that we cherish. I believe it is also important to mention ,Jerry was able to suggest successful cost saving ideas that kept us on budget and at times, improved our final design.
