The Craddock family has been serving the people of southern Oklahoma through their most difficult times for four generations. It is a true family commitment starting with my grandfather Newman, to my Dad, Sonny, from my Dad to me, and from me to my son, Kyle. In 2007 the Craddock family made a commitment to the community by constructing a new and modern facility.
With the new building we are able to provide services that we were unable to before. Some new features includes a memorial garden and a Columbarium. Our new chapel is twice as large as the old one and features stained glass from the Marland Mansion in Ponca City. We also have a full dining area ideal for receptions and meals.

Services
Craddock Funeral Home was established as Bettes Funeral Home in 1923 by Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Bettes. The Bettes family moved to Ardmore from Texas to build the first funeral home built for that purpose. Most funeral homes in that day were converted family homes. We were proud of our historical building, but it was no longer large enough to accommodate our families.
The following is a list of choices which represent the cost of our services. They may or may not include the casket or container required for visitation or viewing, burial, entombment or cremation. You are in no way limited to these service options. You may itemize services in order to select only those which are right for you.
Staff members of Craddock Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Chris gruaduated from Ardmore High School in 1980.

Our facilites are designed to accommodate you and your family with a homelike atmosphere for peace and comfort during your time of grief.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.

We used Craddock Funeral Homes this past summer. They were professional, understanding, and extremely patient in helping us through the loss of our Grandmother. Melinda was the ultimate professional. She was possibly the one of the most helpful and accommodating people I have ever met. She really went the extra mile for our family. Their funeral home is beautiful, and staff is responsive. Thank you to Melinda and everyone at Craddock for helping us fulfill our Grandmother's wishes.

An absolutely amazing place to choose for the handling of your loved ones passing. They were phenomenal every step of the way in professionalism, patience, compassion, and understanding holding our hand through every aspect of the process during our extremely emotional time. I am very grateful for them, it was just above and beyond. Thank you.

The most professional funeral services I have ever dealt with in the area of Ardmore/Madill. They were incredibly helpful, understanding, and courteous, and they made every effort to make the experience the least stressful and as easy as possible. All of our many questions were answered honestly and very clearly and all of our arrangements were handled promptly and professionally. They made a very hard time much easier to deal with and I will be eternally grateful !

Upon on my mom's death in May, 2013 we asked Craddock Funeral Home to handle to services. They were extremely kind and professional in helping us through a difficult time. We were treated like family. We have ZERO complaints with the staff at Craddock. We have great faith and respect for Craddocks (especially Melinda!)--so much so that when my father died seven months later we immediately asked them to do his service as well. Again, we were welcomed like family and treated like royalty. We were on a very tight budget for my dad's service and upon explaining this to the staff, they helped us select
