Bobby Waller is a Professionally licensed inspector with over 25 years of experience in the building and construction industry.
A home inspection gives the buyer more detailed information about the overall condition of the home prior to purchase. A typical home inspection can take approximately 2 hours. It is important to keep in mind that most inspections will reveal minor deficiencies. This should not deter you from purchasing the home, but will educate you in advance what type of repairs to anticipate.
Some inspectors offer to perform the WDI inspection themselves as part of their inspection for an additional fee. I believe that by passing this service on to an established well qualified pest control company, not only will you receive a more thorough WDI inspection, but Andys will also be able to recommend and perform treatments if issues should arise.
A complete inspection includes a visual examination of the building from top to bottom. The inspector evaluates and reports the condition of the structure, roof, foundation, drainage, plumbing, heating system, central air-conditioning system, visible insulation, walls, windows, and doors. Only those items that are visible and accessible by normal means are included in the report.
