Oatka Chiropractic, located in LeRoy, NY 14482, is a modern facility where we offer specific scientific chiropractic adjustments. Our goal with this care is to reduce and remove interference from your nervous system, known as subluxations. Your body has an "innate" ability to be healthy, so long as the controlling mechanism, the nervous system, is free from interference.
In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."

Started going to see Dr Garvey for severe pain in my neck. I really thought it was pain management time and that I would always have the issue. She gave me such kindness, and offered a plan.
As we progressed everything she told came to light. It was not an over night process, she told me it wouldn’t be. She kept me on track and I’m now pain free. She’s a master and I’m so appreciative. Can’t recommend her enough.

Amazing Chiropractic office. I felt welcomed right away. Dr. Garvey took a lot of time to listen to all of my issues and take notes and ask questions. I came to Dr. Garvey with severe pain and loss of feeling in fingers and no hope left for any pain relief. After a few weeks of treatment I am back to almost completely healed. Very knowledgeable and genuinely care about their patients well being. Dont look any further for a quality chiropractic office!
