Reeder & Brown, P.C. was founded in 2016 on the ideals of honesty, integrity, and unmatched customer service. Since then, we have helped clients throughout Northern Illinois navigate their most difficult legal concerns. Founding attorney Joel Brown opened the firm with the goal of providing quality representation and responsible advice regardless of the challenges presented by a particular case.
Joel Patrick Brown was admitted to the practice of law in 2008. In 2009 Joel formed his own law firm and mainly practiced in the areas of criminal law, traffic law, and family law. In 2010 Joel closed his law firm and became an Assistant State's Attorney with the Will County State's Attorney's Office where he prosecuted thousands of DUI cases, hundreds of domestic battery cases.
For 15 years, Gregory Reeder has been a vigorous advocate for his clients and public servant throughout the State of Illinois. Greg is an experienced trial attorney, who aggressively fights for his clients whether they are charged with a felony or misdemeanor or going through a divorce or family law case.

Joel Brown represented me on an OP case in 2019. He was not familiar with the law on multiple occasions and was not prepared in court. He failed to bring in a witness telling me he didn't have time although I gave him the name and phone number. He failed to subpoena documents needed as I requested. While questioning a witness, he failed to identify discrepancies. He misspoke often, struggled with names, and did not know what the word "hear say" meant. He also lost a thumb drive that was to be given to me. He is very disorganized.

I was very impressed with Reeder & Brown. If I sent and email or called with a question, I received a response by the end of the day. Mr. Brown is extremely professional and personable and helped me with any questions and concerns I ever had about my case and would break it down as much as need be for me to understand what I was being told.
