Hometown Heroes Boxing

To provide recreational and competitive amateur boxing opportunities at the grassroots level for high school students, college students and individuals that are no longer in high school or college. All participants must be registered with USA Boxing. To support programs and activities which contribute to the development of individual integrity, character, physical and mental fitness and personal objectives.

The president of Hometown Heroes Boxing, Inc. is Gary Toney, former national president of United States Amateur Boxing, Inc. and team leader for the 2000 U. S. Olympic team in the Sydney, Australia Olympics. As a youth, Gary won numerous Golden Gloves Championships to include the West Virginia and Tri-State championships.

We are mandated to comply with all USA Boxing decisions. We will try to reschedule at a later date. Please notify your boxers so they can notify their parents. I do not want anyone making the trip only to find out there is no event. I am so sorry about this and the late notice by USA Boxing especially right before the weekend.

Hometown Heroes Boxing(R), Inc. is organized in the state of West Virginia as a nonprofit corporation. Its purpose is to foster, develop and promote recreational and competitive amateur boxing opoortunities for hometown athletes and supportive participants who are registered with USA Boxing.

Additionally, if funds are available Hometown Heroes Boxing(R) will provide equipment for boxing gyms; scholarship funds for high school seniors desiring to attend college or trade school; funds for students in college; funds for physical fitness facilities; and funds for other charitable organizations.
