For over eighty five years we have dedicated ourselves to providing residents of the Tuscarawas Valley with kindness, courtesy and integrity at the loss of a loved one. We have an expertly trained staff of caring, empathetic individuals, along with two comfortable funeral homes.

Additionally, we offer a third separate facility, the Monarch Center, which is unique alternative venue for a non-traditional memorial gathering or event, as well as being available for family gatherings following ceremonies.We are also proud to own and operate our own crematory, insuring the utmost care for those choosing cremation.

From start to finish everything went great. The people were very compassionate and caring. They even reached out to see how I was doing well after the funeral. I highly recommend Toland-Herzig for your family and friends in your time of need.

This funeral home is amazing. I buried my Mother and Father in the past 30 days. They showed a great amount of compassion and professionalism. Every detail was covered and I didn’t have to worry about anything getting missed. It was easy for me to concentrate on family and grieving and not the details.

What a wonderful and caring experience during a rough time in our lives. There was nothing that was not taken care of for us during this time. We had a very small family service at the cemetery but you would have thought it was the most important person in the world. The time after the funeral service was such a nice warm feeling of family and friends. I can not say enough about the treatment we had with the whole Toland-Herzig Family.

John Herzig has created a beautiful way to remember the people who have made a huge impact on our lives. It was so interesting seeing how these people had their lives celebrated. If you have a free hour or two I 100% recommend checking it out. John himself gave me a tour of the museum.
