As a second generation pharmacist growing up in the business my entire life and spending the last 17 years in the industry, I wanted something that would showcase what pharmacy truly is and what it can be. I believe I solve a problem of breaking out pharmacy into a healthcare destination.

We all get sick. Many people catch a cold once or twice a year. But serious health issues can arise for other people. At Metier Pharmacy, we don't follow the "one-size-fits-all" mantra. Instead we focus on our patient's individual needs. Oftentimes, commercial medication is great for certain ailments and conditions, but in other situations, compounding individualizes medication for a specific patient.

Metier's boutique offers a collection of health and wellness products for the body, bath, and home. You can be assured that our products are all natural without the added ingredients. We are the only place in Arizona where you can find Avene skin care and Klorane hair care products. Of course, you can also find your common over-the-counter products too.
Metier Pharmacy is located within the Arcadia neighborhood in Phoenix. Our neighborhood pharmacy provides patients with a variety of specialty medications-cardiovascular, dermatology, diabetes, gastroenterology, hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis, oncology, rheumatology, urology, veterinary, and women's health.

I never thought going to the pharmacy would be a pleasant experience, but Metier makes it a breeze! No more dealing with pharmacy techs with bad attitudes and stressful waits next to sick people at a typical drugstore. I was instantly greeted when I walked in and my prescription was ready in less than 5 minutes. There's both a cute boutique off to the side and a nice courtyard bordered by sour orange hedges in the front to enjoy while you wait. And the best part? Absolutely NO crowd or unpleasant staff. The only downside is that the pharmacy closes at 1pm on Saturday and is closed on Sundays

I don't think I have ever had a favorite pharmacy before, but now I do. Metier has a refreshing combination of competency: they're polite, helpful, quick, and not expensive. With how bad all the other pharmacies have been lately, I've found myself recommending them often. If you're exasperated with the other guys, give Metier a try.

I've lived in a few different cities, this by far is my favorite pharmacy. The staff is very communicative, knowledgeable, and the customer service excellent. They have a fabulous team and I suggest them to anyone looking to step away from big box pharmacies or just wanting to support a local business.

I was ensured medication would be in yesterday, even though I tried to get the transaction reversed so I could pick it up with confidence at my local pharmacy. It never arrived and this pharmacy isn't open on weekends to handle an emergency. I'm out of necessary medication and have to wait until Tuesday.
Edit: I have only an outbound phone record for Thursday Sept 2nd and no other records so I know not what the reply is talking about. Furthermore, I found out prior to that I could not get the script filled at my local pharmacy because this business had already processed the order with my insurance

I ordered a medication and they called me and said that because it was so requested they were going to raise the price from $60 to $360. These people are rip off artists. I ended up paying $65 at another compounding pharmacy.
What if I was elderly and could not afford that price? Shame on Metier Pharmacy!!

Compounding pharmacy for people and pets too!! I got my puppy her medicine as well as mine. The owner is very nice, he delivered my prescription to me one time when I couldn't make it in. This pharmacy treats all of its patients like family. Their namesake rings true, since "metier" means an occupation that is ones true calling. You feel the white glove, and genuine care from each employee you interact with whether it be via phone or in person. I live in California, and have gone through numerous pharmacies because I have been put off & frankly I never felt like a priority since I need RX for a pet dog. This place used to go above and beyond for customers. Seems they went away from that. I have even sent numerous new people there and they so me no loyalty or help to go above and beyond.. I have moved pharmacies and will not be using them going forward. They wouldn't over night or do 2 day shipping when I needed them to the most. They care more about their bottom line than us the patients. Good luck. They'll be good to you for the 1st year after that they don't care about you.

Metier Pharmacy is a classic example of a neighborhood business, who can provide service at a level rarely seen in larger retail. Very happy with Metier! I live far from the pharmacy so when I called to schedule a time to pick it up (in the future), the staff offered to overnight my prescription. It can't be exposed to heat so they packed it in ice and I was very impressed with their willingness to help. This is the pharmacy of my dreams! The pharmacist and techs all remember your name and greet you warmly when you walk in. They know my prescriptions better than I do and call to remind me when its time for refills. Dr. House has also recommended some great practitioners in the area that my Husband and I both go to. They have a compounding pharmacy here too, which is rare.
They carry high end lotions and candles as well and are also conveniently next to a cute flower shop. Love this little gem!

Excellent compounding pharmacy! Compounded a scar cream for my family and was so helpful in explaining how to use. Goes above and beyond to make sure patients are well informed and keeps a good record of medications from there or other pharmacies for potential interactions.

I'm rewriting my review for the owner Did reach out through yelp to explain that my phone was not working. I don't know how no one else had issues calling me for I have been receiving calls from all other people and all last week there were no issues with people calling to get a hold of me. I now realize it was my doctor that failed to put enough information into the prescription notes. Had she done so I wouldn't have to wait on pain those few days. This place is absolutely my favorite! They make it so easy to fill and pick up my prescriptions and the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. They have the most adorable gift shop that is always convenient when I need a gift for someone and/or a gift for myself. I was in yesterday and they have the most adorable Holiday display. This place is super cute - very European, with lovely European skin creams and small gifts. But most importantly: they are a great pharmacy. They compound custom prescriptions, as well as standard prescription pharmaceuticals. They answer their phone without our need to suffer voicemail hell... The pharmacists pick up the phone. Super cute local pharmacy. The total opposite of the spectrum from any pharmacy you'll ever step into these days. It gives off more of a boutique vibe, which was warm and welcoming and not intimidating at all. The girl at the counter greeted me and offered her assistance if I needed anything. I was actually stopping by as I've recently relocated to the area for a few months and my already dry skin has been a nightmare. Customer Service is NoT DEAD. I am never ever going back to chain Rx this place is awesome the owner/rph is amazing they took so much time to explain to me my meds, how closely they work with my provider is awesome the disconnect is gone. I am officially done with Walgreens, CVS and Costco for my prescriptions!! Randle has gone above and beyond for me on a few occasions, whether it's searching out coupons from pharmaceutical companies to help save me a few dollars to making special trips to the post office to mail my scripts out so I don't have to wait longer than I need to. This place is amazing and I take every opportunity to tell them and people I know.

Such a great customer service experience. I didn't know that there was another option to the big box pharmacies! They take insurance the same way, but I didn't feel like a number. It's like a small town, "get-to-know-you" pharmacy. I love the way it looks too. Very warm and relaxing - a place you enjoy waiting for your order.
