We are an owner-operated, family business that was born in 1996. Steve was hooked once he picked up a cleaning wand and began helping his childhood friend Pat. Steve soon discovered he loved being in the community he grew up in, helping clients preserve their carpet and ultimately save them money.
With a goal to learn as much as he could about the industry, he earned his IICRC certification as a Master Cleaner, a designation reserved for the best in the industry.Along the way, he met and married Jan, another Santa Clarita native, and soon after, they became sole owners of Big Red Carpet Cleaning.

I have used Big Red in the past for carpeting, but I finally decided to use them to clean my downstairs tile and grout flooring. I’m amazed at how clean they were able to get my tile and grout!! It looks so beautiful. I’m completely satisfied with the cost and overall job they did and would not hesitate to refer them to anyone.

PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! First appointment Steve (the owner) showed up over ONE HOUR late after he texted to say, he would be 30 minutes late. When I told him that an hour late caused a conflict with another commitment and we would have to reschedule he HUFFED (yes, huffed).
That should have been a sign NOT to hire him. He ruined a $1000k area rug…Did not test an area to ensure there would be no discoloration from the harsh chemicals and more importantly, DID NOT FOLLOW STATE GUIDELINES with respect to wearing a mask AFTER I requested that he put one on while in my house. We just had our carpet cleaned by Big Red carpet and it came out amazing! I can't say enough good things about their professionalism and care. The owner came out to inspect the carpet because I was testing it for cleaning with their company before deciding on replacing the carpet. He told me that he was pretty confident that he could get the stains out and I I didn't fully believe him. We tested two areas with different kinds of stains, one area was the hallway with lots of foot traffic, paint spills, candy stuck in carpet, dry Play-Doh, Etc. Decided to have our carpets cleaned and had used Big Red previously at my prior house. Once again they did a great job. Steve was easy to get a hold of and showed up on time for the initial estimate as well as for the actual cleaning. He was very informative about the process and asked about any specific stains or spills we've had so he could treat the areas appropriately. Carpets look great and very happy with the results. Will definitely use them again in the future.

My three year old carpets looked sad. With two young children, one old sick cat and one old sick dog, we have lots of stains.
